Not just Hulu, youtube, vimeo, dailymotion, metacafe, google, facebook (the ones vbulletin already provides.

Even back when this mod actually worked (without file editing), it never did this. It just relieved users of the burden of manually adding video tags.

Thanks. Looks like I'll be uninstalling this.

Jesus Christ that's all this does? How lazy can someone be? With vb4 you don't even have to add video tags.

So, what's the sense of this mod/hack?

Originally the intent was much more grandiose. It was supposed to be a template language where anyone could add/edit sites easily. That never really happened, though the vb3 version did have one person that figured it out and he released a lot of definitions. The original author moved on before doing anything with the vb4 version, but I believe he has said anyone is free to take it over.

I think there's a vote floating around Jira somewhere to get vb to add more definitions. I'm not sure they'll ever figure out how to make it automatic any longer. That was just much easier when internet video was young and relatively rare.

hi .... i used ame 2.5 ... and it have dj plugin for local file .. mp3 and ...
but when i import that file ame3 show me err
any chance to new version of it ?
for local file ... mp3 or ...

I'm so disgusted with VB 4.xx. The support for it is complete sh*t. Plugins suck, the skins suck. What is the deal? Trying to downgrade is a pain but here I go. wth

This mod includes the ability to fix all the old AME embeds. But you can also do it with any text editor on a backup of your db.
