what is he asking is if your host or you can create an .htaccess file (i think in the root) in it you can put your rewrite rules for vbseo.

It's usually done with (i did) notepad and just name it .htaccess and upload

some host doesn't support it

after installation i had the problem with

Google FAILED
Yahoo FAILED
Ask FAILED
Moreover FAILED


so i replaced the part in vbseo_sitemap_functions.php
as described in:

after that everything was ok at the beginning:
Google OK
Yahoo OK
Ask OK
Moreover FAILED

now, when i want to access teh vbSEO Sitemap Reports, after typing in the password, i get this erros message:

Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_sitemap_functions.php:1) in /vbseo_sitemap/index.php (Row 38)

Any ideas??

Most likely you have edited the file incorrectly (added a few extra line breaks at the top or at the bottom of file). Try to reupload file from the package and apply modification again.

i tried the thing with breaks and extra lines a few times before
now i did the replacing with old style EDITOR and it worked :)

I upgraded to vb 3.7

now when I run sitemap generator,

it does the run like usual
and at the bottom of the report it says

database error

Any Ideas? Please Help
