I am thinking if you could edit the the script to only display 30 latest posts on front page, and if u want to view the rest you can go to seconds page, then 3rd... 4.5.6..7..

hi, thanks for the hack i just installed it, works great, question though, i'm trying to make the hack display a minature 20x20pixels version of the avatar instead of the name, and just show the name when the mouse goes over the avatar... if the user has an avatar.

Possible but i'd think pointless, most forums allow upto 100 x 100 pixel avatars, or 65 x 65, cut down to 20 x 20 would leave a little square where you couldn't make out anything.

i checked the shoutbox i'm trying to have mine look a little more like, it's a 30x30 pixel picture. the thing is just, my site requires users to have their own avatar with their actual picture, since it's a community page. so that would be a good thing. could you help me with this? or should i start a new request in the modification forum?

also how do i get the date and time out of the shout-display? and i need to change the font to something smaller then the regular forum text size. do i have to force it in the template then? if so which one?

how do you disable both html and vb codes

im new to vBulletin and im trying to install the shoutbox:

where is the "plugin System? Somewhere in Admincp .. but i cant find it. Its not one of the main groups so plz make it easier to find, its noobs like me out there -_-
.. and this is just as annoying as when i tried to upload the first release of a vBulletin shoutbox i found through google, which asked me to install through the "/install" folder, which i had already deleted ofcourse. -_-

edit: omg i just realized i dont have the latest version of vbulletin AND i bought it today.. now i have to either upgrade manually? or pay for vBulletin to do it for me lol .. unbelivabel

Also, can anyone answer my questions about disabling both HTML and VB Codes. HTML is disabled when you enable VB Codes, but when you diable VB Codes, HTML is enabled. I need both disabled to disallow members from posting images and large text, etc. it's very important so if anyone could help me out I will be very appriciative.

you can delete them by using /pruneshout [what ever the shout was]
but no editing as of yet

I know with /prune you clean the hole windows. How do u use /prunshout ? I puit in the complete line after this command or the username ?

you type /pruneshout i hate you all

and it will delete it

I know it can be deleted but Edit function is more important for me... it was great on old Shoutbox for vB 3.0.x.

Great ! The archive is back ! When i show my users the beta of my new website, the told me "whaouu a new shoutbox... but where is the link to the archives ?" They were a little dispointed with this leak. I guess this change will make them happy. Thanks !
