It is working right this minute on my site:

Currently Active Users: 12 (8 members and 3 guests and 1 spiders)
Most users ever online was 55, 13th July 2005 at 07:40 AM.

just follow the steps very carefully.......this hack work's perfectly.

Well I reinstalled it and is working now??

I see two columns of data in that file. The second column would be the ID string and the first column would be the ID description, right?

For those having this problem, the install instructions say:

There are 3 lines that have this. Stick the addin code ($spiderlist = ....) under the last/bottom of the 3.
I stuck it above the top one with the above results, stuck it above the bottom one and it works.

This is documented in this thread, but IIRC that's under init.php and this is index.php. Either that poster got confused over usernames or it used to be in init.php

Either way, I stuck it above the 3rd and it worked.

Thanks for that, thats was the problem I also had. Your right it needs to be placed above the 3rd line from the top of the index.php file. And not the first or second instance of it.

Becuase when you asked to search for:

// memory saving

that line is listed 3 times and it's the last one you add it above.

By the way, this is an exellent hack, should be a default thing if you ask me.
