Where can i change the link to ustore?

Link14716 04-13-2004 02:41 PM

Do a find/replace throughout all of the templates searching for uttstore.php and replacing with ushop.php.

NuclioN 04-13-2004 02:48 PM

You have a busy day Link4716 :)

Link14716 04-13-2004 02:53 PM

Got another error...and Link I STILL don't know how to fix the no actions found...apperantly the HTL version is absolutly ****ed up.

Did you run the standalone or HTL installer? - HTL

What is the exact error you recieve? - Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/smasher1/public_html/forums/ushop.php on line 144

Where does the supposed error happen? - The main shop menu
What vB version are you running? - Vbulletin 3.0.0 Gold

Giveit2u43 04-13-2004 03:26 PM

Had to help another person out with this.. they`d run the HTL.. I used the uninstaller in the Standalone installer and then installed via that, and again they`d made the Global Edit at the top of the File not the bottom.. So be sure to check that.

I think your best bet is to go on the standalone installtion, cluck uninstall and ddo a fresh install using the standalone.

I'd recommend that as well. Be sure to redownload first, though, since there have been some fixes to the installer.

erikajune 04-13-2004 03:55 PM

When I click on an item in ushop, it takes me to this page: http://www.incredifind.com/index.cfm...hp?do=a&aid=10

Any idea why it would be doing this?

And the prices aren't showing up properly. It's displaying all the costs of items as 9 times the amount I specified in the acp. Weird....

filth 04-13-2004 04:00 PM

I just did an uninstal and tried to reinstal and got the following error:-

Checking for previous installations...

It appears you already have the latest version installed!

im using the standalone installer for this

The first one looks like an error on your end. Do you have a bad replacement variable somewhere or something?

As for the costs - the first thing I'd check are the discounts. There are three discount types - two are settings and one is a usergroup setting. Make sure that none are negative or something. Both of your problems are odd ones that I personally haven't encountered before.

Also, try re-installing the templates via the standalone installer.

How does it add points when members are posting in the shoutbox???

It's a setting in 'vBulletin Options' under 'uTT Points System Settings'. I made the shoutbox check for that setting so the code is already there.

erikajune 04-13-2004 04:22 PM

I only get that weird link when I click anything in the Quick Nav or when I try to change username color for example.

I also get this error occasionally -

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/erika/public_html/community/ushop.php on line 144

But I can refresh and it goes away, so...

NuclioN 04-13-2004 04:29 PM

Hm..i've set the points to 1 per shout but it did not update the points.

Xenon 04-13-2004 04:30 PM

In the navbarlink: Most Sold Actions all links are dead.

Can you answer the questions outlined in the first post so I can see if I can get to the bottom of this?

You mean they link to uttstore.php instead of ushop.php?

The shoutbox version has to be at least 1.02 for points per shout to work.

Zelda-King 04-13-2004 04:50 PM

Yes they did link to uttstore.php instead of ushop.php. I fixed that for myself though. Incidentally if anyone does what I did to ushop.php making it point to the renamed functions_ushop.php you'll also need to change the store admin file likewise.

Link14716 04-13-2004 04:52 PM

You still shouldn't do that. :p

I believe I fixed all the links now since there is only one instance of uttstore.php and that is for including the functions file.

Did you run the standalone or HTL installer? Manually

What is the exact error you recieve? Links in Quick Nav link to a search page off my site and I occassionally get this error: "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/erika/public_html/community/ushop.php on line 144" when I use the backbutton from these search pages. However I can refresh and then the error disapears.

Where does the supposed error happen? Quick Nav, Change/Remove glow or username color. Error at ushop.php

What vB version are you running? 3.0.0 Gold

Zelda-King 04-13-2004 04:55 PM

Incidentally, from experience: anyone using HTL should NOT include the autoparsed tags on the beginning and end of each code (ie CHANGEID=1] and whatever. A few changes happen in places where such tags will ruin the string... such as in the middle of a query.

That is nothing to do with the coding of this hack. That is how HTL works.

I still don't see how this would be happening. Can you redownload and run the templates part of the installer (after re-uploading)? As for the error, there is absolutely no reason it'd only happen occasionally. Are you sure you edited global.php correctly?

The HTL is frustrating, which is why I burried the install and it won't be updated until some annoying bugs in the HTL are fixed. It was good for the early alpha builds, but now that the standalone installer is working perfectly, it isn't needed anymore.

Either do a find/replace across all templates for uttstore.php and replacing with ushop.php, or redownload, re-upload the installer, and click the link that says "Click here to install ONLY the templates (useful after upgrading vBulletin) -->"

Link14716 04-13-2004 05:18 PM

You need to calm down...

How do I just run the templates part of the installer? And after re-uploading what? All the edited files and files that came with the hack?

And like someone else said, to other people those links I said linked to a search page, are dead to them... go to a page cannot be displayed page.

I'm pretty sure I edited global.php correctly. I had to redo that one a zillion times to get things to work. I'll check it again though.

Ugh.
