AH - I had something similar a while back with attachment thumbnails on my site -
- That turned out to be "Image Settings" -- GD <-- was no longer working properly for generating thumbnails.

I installed and changed to ImageMagick 6 and then went to Maintainance and regenerated all thumbnails to fix it.

Perhaps the GD thumbnail generation is a more widespread problem than I initially thought.

EDIT: Just noticed that when ADDING video clips to your library, you also get eregi errors.

I've edited/replaced the depreciated commands and attached them all here.

I just installed this plugin on my 4.1.5 vb forum but I dont get any tab in the menu.
I can see people talking about Navigation Manager but I guess this is a feature added in a later vb version?
It doesn't matter what combination of "Tabs Menu On/Off ?" and "vBTube-Usermenu ?" I have added, I cant see anything added to any of my menus.

Or this is a 4.2,x plugin only?

Played around a little and everything else seem to work as it should, just missing the navtab menu.
Maybe I could add one my self, are there any howto to create my own navtab plugin?

Hi,

I am trying to install the LE version as a precursor to getting the full version.

I've uploaded everything and when trying to import the xml product file I get the following error on vB:
Sorry, no XML was passed into this function and the $path variable empty

I am using the latest version of vB - 4.2.2.

Any tips?

I think you have to read the whole thread mate, this really needs a sticky or something with ALL the relevant tweaks in some sort of order. I have the full version on 4.2.2 http://www.tooraktimes.com.au/vbtube.php and it is fantastic, other than the fact it does not work on Apple pads or my iPhone

So far so good on installing this. i need to know how to do one thing though. Where do I change the word "Media" to Videos shown in the attachment. I've looked in the phrases & in the templates and cannot find a place to change that. Thanks.

VBTube works great for us on our vbulletin 4.2 site.

I do have an issue - and that's that when a new video is posted and generates an auto-thread, in our everywhere sidebar, the [url] and [/url] tags show up in the actual sidebar module. I'm not sure how to fix this.

I *get* that this may not have anything directly to do with the VBTube product, but since large #'s of folks use the everywhere sidebar mod, it would be nice to get a fix for this issue :)

Help anyone?

May be anyone can help me with that:

Today I was wondering, why the heck the same youtube video was showing up 4 times in the random media bar. In the end it?s a missing check, wether a video is already present (and the new upload/link attempt would became rejected) or not.

I don?t know if Murat is still around here and his Site vbtube.com seems to have a broken registration. Has anyone solved this double-post prevention issue, yet, and would share his knowledge?

Would be really appreciated..!

P.S.: Anyone around who knows where I could find a german language file for the current version? Today I?m translating me my a.. off and my headaches are killing me. The aftermath of our world championship has cost me years of my life...and waaay to much alcohol :/

I'm also trying to install the mod in the "comments in the forum" way.

But...
I have installed vb 4.2.2
So after done all is write in the attachment file for instructions (because the demonstration installation video here, shown different folders)
but i follow the instruction of the attached file.... more an help of the video.
First, i didn't found in the mod the box to add the apy key showed in the video

Second, when i try to go to "check db.."
it come this message:

Hi Guys,
I have just installed the plugin on another board but something doesn't work..

Do some one know why everytime I try to upload a video and click confirm (save) it says:
"Please upload only Image Type Files! (jpg, gif, png)" founded this line on the top of the page:
..... failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/vbtube_functions_add.php on line 404

Someone know what does it mean and how to resolve it.
