the VBSSO login box has a link to "Site Admin" (/wp-admin/) is this safe? is it really needed...can it be removed? i think the link to "profile" and "logout" link should be fine. |

its not design for posting messages cross platform, its as it suggests a Single SignOn lets say for example you have joomla and you log into your forum it will then ensure you are logged into joomla and if you wanted to include vbuletin posts in joomla you would download http://www.joomplace.com/bridges/vbu...est-posts.html its pretty simple |

Hi!
Installed vbulletin vbSSO and wordpress vbSSO and when trying to connect to Wordpress through vb-admincp I get the error message: "Unable to verify platform [http://www.xxxxx.se/wpsz/wp-content/...sso/vbsso.php] Please analyze log files located at `/home/html/www.xxxxx.se/public_html/vb/vbsso/logs/` to detect the cause of the issue." The log file says "Communication: Platform returned http status code: 0" and when I browse to the url above I get Internal Server Error. Any ideas how to solve this issue? Regards Chris |

Hi all, just wondering if anyone that has linked VBulletin and Wordpress if they have a way of getting new blog posts in the word press slave to show up in the activity stream in the Vbulletin master?
I understand this plugin is primarily just to share users but would be handy if anyone can share there experiences of integrating the above two? Thanks! |

- Is the debugging logging level different than the email-logs I've enabled? - Wordpress and vbulletin installation is on the same domain and server. Could it still be a firewall issue? Additional info: Curl-version: libcurl/7.18.2 OpenSSL/0.9.8g zlib/1.2.3.3 libidn/1.8 PHP Version 5.2.6-2 Cheers, Chris |

How can I associate a vbulletin group user with a user role of wordpress? It isn't very clear...
edit: when I login with administrator vbulletin user I can't administrate wordpress... |
Hello, and thanks for making this product. We are having some issues with it though.
Only users that were already registered in the wordpress system can log into both. And whenever a user tries to log out, or log in with an account that is on vBulletin only, all I get is a white page that does nothing. Also, the widget for the vBSSO login box does nothing when a user that is only in the vbulletin system tries to log in. I get absolutely no error messages. Can we get some help with this? |

One question:
Do you will offer a SSO-Addon for the Mediawiki Plattform? (Like you was saying in post #115: Quote:
|
^ Good question.
Such bridges have generally not kept pace with both vBulletin and MediaWiki development, and fall into disrepair. Would be interested to know if MediaWiki was in contention. |

Hi
I have wordpress 3.4 setup. I have done the install and settings in VBSSO. All the steps for setup went fine. But when I login to my wordpress and then access the forum, I get standard page of forum with login page. It does not login me into forum automatically To give more info. I have custome login page mylogin.php in wordpress fro login purpose. I also use custom user table "myusers". I don't use wp_users table. Will this plugin work in this case. If yes, what I need to change ? thanks -Suresh |

What is the likely minimum version of MediaWiki that it will support? I may well have to upgrade our wiki in advance. Thanks! |

Thank you, |
I'd be happy to check how it works on a test wiki site (running 1.17.0) and a vB mirror, but I'd probably keep my live site to your stated minimum requirements. ;)
Looking forward to this. |
Happy to see Drupal has been added. Now, if only Joomla was on that list.... ;)

Any possibility of ExpressionEngine being added? That would be huge.
Will this eventually be ported to support vB 5? Thanks for this, btw, it's a major boon to the community. |

With vb 3.8.7, the database is returning an error when a user is registered:
Database error in vBulletin 3.8.7: Invalid SQL: SELECT * FROM `vbsso_users` WHERE `vbuserid` = LIMIT 1; MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'LIMIT 1' at line 1 Error Number : 1064 Request Date : Sunday, November 25th 2012 @ 01:06:21 PM Error Date : Sunday, November 25th 2012 @ 01:06:32 PM Script : http://site/register.php?do=addmember Referrer : http://site/register.php?do=register IP Address : Username : testaccount Classname : vB_Database It looks like userid isn't passing correctly to the query. |

Hello xeagle,
Will this work for windows applications? My site is full of developers and wish to use a secure login system for our free portable applications. We develop net app's with visual studio and was hoping this would solve our problem. Thank you for your hard work. Regards, seph. |
