addamroy 04-18-2012 09:40 PM

I just imported and allowed overwrite on the new file.

When I uninstalled the extended legacies product it broke my forum, how can I fix this? Can't get to admincp OR the forum itself.

Also I should note, I'm running vb 4.0.7

I got the issue fixed now but you should really look into that, the whole forum was dead after following your upgrade instructions.

If you are running vB 4.0.7 why did you have extended legacies installed? If this was an issue with the instructions or code it would have been reported by quite a few people already.

Hi, i have 5 Pending Subscriptions some have existed for a month. One I know has paid his subscription. Why haven't they become full members?

Please help.

static74 05-13-2012 11:44 PM

for some reason, when a member signs up and clicks return to website, it takes them back to the subscription selection page instead of letting them register. most of my new registrations have this problem. is there a fix?

yarmaa 05-15-2012 03:03 PM

Where is support?
I sent PM with my problem a few days ago.
No answer, no solution. Nothing.

Support is provided, but only to those who have marked this add-on as "Installed" and provided their forum URL either in this thread or via the PM system. If you did not receive a response, it was because you did not meet one or more requirements above.

disregard - solved

huskermax 05-30-2012 03:38 PM

For some reason I am getting a lot of pending subscriptions and none are paying. I have had two pay and then register and once they registered it took that pending one away. So it does work. But I am not sure why I have so many pending.

When does it create the pending subscription? How far in the process do they have to go?

This is a functional requirement until the next major version of this add-on. To get to the point, they will be automatically removed by the add-on after 7 days if they haven't become regular users.

DM BoNeZ 05-31-2012 02:59 AM

idk y but my register.php only has 2 of these = $userdata->save();
and im running 4.1.7 :D

Very nice! That will be a big help. I have had some that have paid and not finished registering which is fine. I follow up with those people. Don't want to kick them out.

Thanks for the info, I really like this mod. It has dropped my spam to zero:)

You have installed the \"LancerForHire - Paid Registration\" product or updated your version of vBulletin without applying the necessary file edits.  Visit the product page immediately for instructions on how to perform the file edit.  Leaving your board registration file unmodified with the product installed will cause unexpected results.

To visit the product page, click <a href=\"https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=263521\">here</a>.
This was an email I got? Not sure were on this mod shows the updates I need? I have the same version as listed on the front page? I am confused. I did update to vb 4.2, is there something I need to do?

afrizal 06-19-2012 03:07 AM

i wrote

= $userdata->save();
if (isset($paidRegistrationUserId)) {
$vbulletin->userinfo['userid'] = $userid = $paidRegistrationUserId;
}

then error showed up when i try to register.
my register.php only has 2 of these = $userdata->save();

Because it came with your mod and was part of the instructions.

Perhaps one of the versions from 7+ months ago, but certainly not a more recent one -- if you are not using vBulletin 3, extended legacies should not be installed :)

Disable hooks in config.php and remove all the related add-ons -- it appears you ignored warnings regarding dependencies before uninstalling

The only thing to be done on upgrades is a re-application of the file edits -- I don't think that message was related to 4.2 :)

If it is a vBulletin upgrade and not a product upgrade, no :)

Send over a PM with a link to register.php's source code

MSJA 06-30-2012 04:09 AM

Great mod!

I got the following error when registering for the "Free Registration" option. All the paid subscription options work.

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message '0003' in C:\wamp\www\sitename\register.php(81) : eval()'d code:274 Stack trace: #0 C:\wamp\www\sitename\register.php(81): eval() #1 C:\wamp\www\sitename\vbseo.php(1397): require('C:\wamp\www\sit...') #2 {main} thrown in C:\wamp\www\sitename\register.php(81) : eval()'d code on line 274

I'm running vBulletin 3.8.7 (Patch Level 3), Apache 2.2.14, PHP 5.2.9-2, MySQL 5.0.88.

I tried disabling all other add-ons and I followed the included installation instruction. I still got the error message.

Thank you.

MSJA 06-30-2012 09:17 PM

I'm still getting the same error on a fresh vanilla installation of vBulletin 3.8.7 (Patch Level 3) with just the Paid Registration installed.

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message '0003' in C:\wamp\www\vb38\register.php(81) : eval()'d code:274 Stack trace: #0 C:\wamp\www\vb38\register.php(81): eval() #1 {main} thrown in C:\wamp\www\vb38\register.php(81) : eval()'d code on line 274
