The attached files are for those who are using vB4.2+. Upload the support.php file and import the product xml file. After all you'll have fixed:
  1. Warning for missing functions_wysiwyg.php file
  2. The Navigation tab with all menus and submenus.

Correct. But I assume that you have the script already installed. Right? There are more files in the distribution package. I attached here only the modified files. But you can't work only with them.

Can you connect with FTP to your site and check:
  1. if there is a directory microsupport inside your forum directory
  2. if there is a file functions.php at microsupport/includes
Something is wrong in your installation. I checked the files before uploading them here. Also the file functions.php is from the original zip file.

Sorry but I don't know anything for this language file. What I did is to download the zip file from here, then I modified just 2 files, I tested in my site and then post them here. I didn't changed even the version number in product file.

But, thinking a bit careful, I can't find a reason that you're getting this file. The error message is clear. It can't finds the functions.php. But you're saying that this file is there.

ehhh.... I said to give support just for a few changes to work with 4.2. In any case. As in all vB addons you need to set usergroup permissions. Also check the general settings.

I want to add some modification if possible

* having pre-made forms for departments.
* adding more fields to the ticket Ex: phone, address, P.O.Box , Character name.

the modifications can be paid if needed

I haven't installed it yet .. waiting for someone to help.

thanks in advance

Custom fields are already supporting. You can find them as Extra fields in the menu. But these fields are global for all departments. You can contact the author at tottaly-scripts.com

PS: But difficult to believe that since May 2007 when your registered, this is your first post. Most probably a fake post, right?:D

thanks for your quick response.

why is that a fake post?!

I registered when I knew about vb but have no license but now I have one :)

so I can post.

Is there a possibility to add the pre-made forms ?
EX:
[[ <!-- Complaints --!>
Abuser:

why is the complaint?

words said by the abuser in attached pic or link:

]]

that's will save my + my staffs' time just to read the ticket as fields not forms.

tottaly-scripts.com => Server not found

thank you.

lamur 11-26-2012 02:43 AM

I get this error VB 4.2.x
Code:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function convert_wysiwyg_html_to_bbcode() in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxx/support.php on line 642

megabink 01-09-2013 01:41 PM

Installed and working on 4.20pl3.
Thanks for the fix ChrisTERiS

megabink 01-10-2013 12:12 PM

Update:
I get this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function convert_wysiwyg_html_to_bbcode() in /[path]support.php on line 642 when i try to submit a ticket.

The installation went smooth and everything is working except from submitting a ticket.

Update again lol:

I deleted the 642 line:
Code:

$bodytext = convert_wysiwyg_html_to_bbcode($vbulletin->GPC['message']);
now everything is working like it should!

Too bad this went out of date. Pretty good idea for a mod. I'd likely pay for something like this. Right now I do everything manually.

Hey, I've just installed this, but it seems that if I go to /support.php I get an error message and if I go to /microsupport.php I just get a blank page.

Have I missed something and being stupid, or doesn't it like me?

I am running vB 4.0.2

Sios 02-21-2013 05:12 AM

X you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I get that error when I click the Help Desk. Do I have to set anything up beforehand?

And if so, can you show a template that I can follow off of and edit to my liking?

Thanks!

edrecovery 02-21-2013 10:24 AM

could we have this work with vb 4.2? I'd love to install it.

Chris

Thanks so much for your patch! I have installed successful on my forum - Vbb v4.2 Pl3 . Every things is good on default theme, it can display on Navigation tab.

But, I have a small issue with not default theme:
1. If use this style: http://themeforest.net/item/primus-a...review/3321272 - Open with Primus Blue fluid style, It's ok

2. If use http://themeforest.net/item/primus-a...review/3321272 , Open without fluid, when I creat one question (post ticked), the footer move to up on page to editor content as the image below:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2013/04/18.jpg

I'm a new Vbb fan, I have to learn more! So, I don't know how to fix this problem!

Please help me check this issue and how to fix it?

Thanks in advanced!

Heyy :) I had the same problem! What you have to do, is download an older version of vBulletin (I used v4.0.8) and copy the functions_wysiwyg.php file over and place it in your your included folder as vBulletin removed this file in one of the v4.1.x versions.

You can find the file here: ./incluces/functions_wysiwyg.php

Simply place it in the same place, but on your forum and this error should be resolved for you :D

thang28101993 04-19-2013 04:29 PM

Any one can help me? The issue in post 345,
Thanks so much!

Thanks so much!

Sorry ... I'll resurrect this topic ...
For anyone who is having errors like this
Fatal error: Call to undefined function convert_wysiwyg_html_to_bbcode()
Go to the location indicated and replace
$bodytext = convert_wysiwyg_html_to_bbcode($vbulletin->GPC['message']);
by
require_once(DIR . '/includes/class_wysiwygparser.php');
$html_parser = new vB_WysiwygHtmlParser($vbulletin);
$bodytext = $html_parser->parse_wysiwyg_html_to_bbcode($vbulletin->GPC['message']);

That's how I solved my problem.

tomrep 07-24-2013 05:28 AM

this still wrok ?

onespot 08-28-2013 11:43 PM

Is this ever going to work on 4.2? 4.2 has nothing like this and could use it.
