Ok - found an issue. I see the resize bar in the blogs but not the forum? It resizes the image in the blog per my specs (640 wide) however it resizes it to 600 wide in the forum? The resized forum image is also not clickable.

I know 600 is the same as my "medium" image spec....any correlation there?

I do have the forum and blog selected in vbulletin control panel options.

Freewings2 03-29-2011 02:21 AM

installed and donated. Thanks! Works great in 4.1.2

Sworm 03-29-2011 09:24 PM

I havent tested tis in 4.1.2 yet I will test it soon. But as far as I know it works.

Bajek 04-03-2011 04:13 PM

I installed in on vB 4.1.2 and this mod resize images to desire width (800px) but I cannot open it in original size. I try all possibilities (in new window, in the same window, enlarge). Any suggestion?

Dennis B 04-04-2011 03:26 PM

This hack is resizing images in the same window in 4.1.2 to image_medium_max only, not their original size. I believe this mitigates the usefulness of this hack, if I must open a new window to display the image in its original size anyway, why not just stick with the default thumbnail system.

Webbstre 04-16-2011 12:10 AM

Finally, a resizer that doesn't load a bunch of icons and works on everything, including the CMS. Installed, and thanks for this!

I think it's one of the templates, I forgot how I did it, but it's done in the admin control panel.

Search for "sevenskins_imageresizer_warning" in phrases and edit it.

woodburyMan 04-26-2011 02:50 PM

Awesome product!!!

Is there any way to add on to it or edit it so that you can specify different maxium height/width for different areas? Ex I only want to allow 600x200 for signiture images, where as I would like to allow 1024x768 for user's posts and Private Messages.

Seven Skins 04-26-2011 09:08 PM

^ I might include this in the next release of this hack. But there is no set date for it yet.

Hawk7173 04-28-2011 09:44 PM

How does one get rid of the advertisement link in the copyright at the footer?

You can set Signature image limits in each Usergroup setting.

Trumpetrhapsody 05-02-2011 02:44 PM

Not for linked images, just uploaded ones. I want this feature as well, VERY BADLY haha.

Sai01 05-04-2011 08:52 AM

where do i change the settings on this? i can't find it in my adminCP.

The Rocketeer 05-10-2011 04:04 PM

nice mod, however I was wondering, if this this a bug.. when the yellow bar is clicked the user is taken on a new tab to display the image instead or the forum itself...

is there any better way to have it display within the forums itself rather then having the user leave the site? And when can we expect a new update, not that we need one since it works fine with the latest vb. Good job guy.

Seven Skins 05-11-2011 05:24 PM

You can select the "default resize mode" in the adminCP.

The Rocketeer 05-12-2011 01:31 PM

works like a charm, love your modifications... many thanks pal :)

threethrees 05-12-2011 03:21 PM

Many Thanks.

Just what I needed.

TundraSoul 05-14-2011 04:47 PM

Pvtiste 05-16-2011 05:17 PM

Hi,
Thanks for this good mod and for sharing!
Also, I was wondering if there is a way to add this function in the members album pictures?

magiccen 05-16-2011 11:47 PM

Not only 4.1.3, also 4.1.4, working nice !

TundraSoul 05-22-2011 09:25 PM

Would there be any reason why it would not re-size some images?

I have a few like this which are 499px wide, and my re-size width is 450px. However the script ignores them and doesn't re-size.

Any suggestions?

dai-kun 05-23-2011 05:43 AM

Users that use the in-browser page zoom have trouble with the addon activating on some images since the scaled size triggered the script. How can we make it so that it uses the original image size?

This hack used size in pixels .. and zoon in browser is in % .. hence this will not work with zoomed browser windows.

Defkalion 05-24-2011 09:35 PM

Are there any plans to make this resize also images that are inside CMS comments?

tomoyo23 05-25-2011 03:31 PM

is possible in advanced portal? http://www.vbadvanced.com/ ..greetings

raagaswaram 06-06-2011 01:52 AM

I have images which is 1920x1080 but it shows as click this bar to view the original image of 800x 340.Its limiting to this size why so?.where can i edit it?.

ia7 06-11-2011 01:58 PM

Make sure when using this that you change the sizes of the image_small/medium/large_max definitions under your Stylevars (search for 'max') otherwise the browser will take over the resizing, but not allow for the viewing of the fullsize images.

I removed the values and units completely and it appears to be working as expected.

Sarteck 06-17-2011 08:43 PM

I made a very simple one that used to work like the in-place-enlargement/shrinking this Mod does.... But 4.1.4 borked it. XP I found this a few days ago, and it works great. Easier to modify than my hand-made one, too. XD

/me marks installed.
