check usergroup permissions

I finally was able to set the permissions but when I click on log in as user That (link) is where it redirects me back to when I attempt to log in as user

No workie like many others. I have Vb4.2.0PL3 and it simply does not work. I was wondering if there would be some info about this anytime soon..... Other options other than this one?

it causes major issue that still I can't solve... posts are duplicated twice in the same post...

This is strange, I just tested it on my 4.2PL3 forum, it worked fine, no double posts or anything strange.

I don't use double post prevention that's in vB4.2, just in case it matters.

well, I don't understand either what that happens anyways...

I will try to test it on a new clean vb4.2 pl3 and surely post feedback after all if things are good.

Have found that when this mod is enabled you can't see other users profile pictures but you can see your own. Does anyone have a fix for this issue??

Go to the User Groups tab in the control panel . At the bottom you will see Administrator Permissions. Select that then select Edit Permissions for each administrator then near the bottom you will see Admin Log In as User and a Yes/No option.

Then when you are in the ACP>Users and you edit a user profile at the top is a drop down labeled Quick Links. The Log In As This User option will be near the bottom

On the Admin Control Panel look for this option under User Groups. Select Administrator Permissions. Then on the next screen select Edit Permissions

On our forum you have tobe a SuperAdmin to access and assign this feature.

We Impexed it flawlessly using Gio~Logist's services and have found this a HUGE time saver fixing dead email addys and lost passwords for the ones that just could not work out a 2 step process.

Yes, this happens because this mod is enabled. On the other hand, I don't think that this is something crucial. You can see current activity of all users in "Who's online now" option, even with this mod on.

Of course, I'm not saying that this bug shouldn't be solved. :D If someone manages to find solution, good. :up:

- If logged in as the user, it does not show their current location or online status?
OR
- If logged in as the user, it should not show them as online?

My Own profile page Current Activity Showing, Its just when I view another's profile page the current activity does not show.

I can confirm that the mod works fine on 4.2.2 PL1
