Starting URL:

Hit Thanks, page refreshes ...

New URL:
example.com/forums/showthread.php/12345-Article-Title?p=294521

to avoid database error:
make sure you uninstall the previous one first.

and install this one as a 'fresh' install as oppose to an upgrade.
works perfectly.

Abe db error fixed i've manually removed the "post_thanks_user_amount" column from the 'user' table using phpmyadmin.

Upgraded to the next version right now and seem to work fine the only problem is that the "Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts" it is not aligned to the left under "Thanks 0" ho to fix it?

Uninstalling the mod, don't forget that all the "Thanks" will be losed!!!!!

I have this "problem" (see Capture.png). If someone not see, BLOG ENTRIES - 1 need to be in one line.. Not number 1 up, and text down :) You can see what I meen... ;)

Yeah, I have the same problem as exyuteam using your latest version of this hack.

Strange - I was playing with this again tonight on my test forum and when I entered a multi-page thread, jumped to a later page (page 11 in this case) and clicked on Thanks, the URL changed back to the first page of the thread!?

So, e.g. on page 11 of the thread: http://www.example.com/vb4test/showt...-thread/page11

...the /page11 is stripped off and I'm brought back to the first page. I have the most up-to-date version of this hack installed.

P.S. I found a bug, if you remove your thanks (in the box when there are other thanks), then the box will be removed too (in file it fixed).

I fixed the alignment issue by changing the post_thanks_postbit_info template to be the following:

(I changed all the "float: {vb:stylevar right}" to be left.)

I just had a number of users with different browsers and operating systems test out this hack on my test forum and they all experienced the refresh/jump-to-first-page problem. I really hope this is fixable.

I have upgraded to th vBulletin 4 from 3.8.1 Version... I had this addon from 3.8 Version... The Thanks Post will lost if put this version...?

Here is the "post_thanks_7_80.zip" version if someone wants/needs to revert to it or just use it instead.
I never upgraded myself, because I haven't found anything wrong with it.

That is what I am using. I just did the legacy fix posted on page 5 of this thread and have had no problems at all. Of course everytime I add a new skin I have to apply the fix, but no big deal.

when u press the thanks button, it makes u jump to first message...i reinstall it several times, same problem :(

i read that developer said that " are u sure about the correct installation" and i m sure about it. i uninstall the previous version, and i deleted all old files and i uploaded new files to right places but still same problems..i have 70.000 registered users and everydays they ask about this hack, i really get bored about this situation. Yea Murratti I've made sure myself and so has a couple of other people so how it's working perfect on the developers site I don't know. But if your like me you must have loads of mods installed and it could easily be anyone of them..

[EDIT] Right I've disabled all my mods and it works perfectly.. So now I'm going through all my mods to see which one is causing the problem..

Right here's even a stranger one for yea, lol I've re enabled all my mods and it still works, lol.. so i guess install mod disable all your mods make sure it works and then re enable should be fine.. Tried in two different browsers.

I closed Let Php Live hack, problem solved...

It's Search Bots crawling links they discovered on previous visits.

I used robots.txt to block access to that file, and it helped. A lot.

Weird. Well how frustrating...I tried your method and no go! Seems like a lot of hoops to jump through to eliminate that refresh issue and most aren't working.

I'm hoping Abe can figure out why it's refreshing like that and why it's leaping back to the first page in the thread. Sigh.

Is it possible to add an option for a thx button in every post if i use the option to thank only in first post. Hm bad text, i mean, i would like have the thanks button in every post but the thanks will only appear in Post 1.

Go check if you have manual edits. This has nothing to do with the current version. You may have an old link still.
