I will consider this mod but need to know two things:

Will it re-size images in CMS, and will it ruin images used in URL (example, an image in a signature that links to a page somewhere).

If it works in CMS and does not ruin linked images, I will install this right away.

Hello,

I see that lots of folks are using this, so that is a good sign, but I'm still a little confused. Does this just change the DISPLAY size of the image on the screen, or does it change the FILE size of the image stored? For example, if I only allow attachement images that are 1000 pixels by 750 pixels, and are 200k max file size, and using this mod, someone tries to upload a file that is 2000 pixels by 1500 pixels and 500k in size, will this mod resize it, save the smaller file size, and ALLOW the attachment upload? Or will attachment permissions still reject it?

Also, two things didn't make sense to me on your test site:
  • When you click on an image to bring up the original, it appeared to be the SAME size as the one displayed on the screen, so I don't know why you would have a pop-up?
  • I couldn't figure out how to close the image at first, but then discovered that you can click to close it in the bottom right corner, yet there is no way of knowing that?

I have installed VBSEO RC3 and they don´t fix the problem with litebox, the externals images open in same window, requiring back click to return to forum.

The only difference is that If I click in back in the browser to return to the forum and click again in the image litebox works fine! until I refresh the browser then litebox don´t works again.

Hey,

Great addition for VB! I do have an issue with my GBCOS chatbox as soon as I turn on Lytebox (which I want of course...)
As soon as it's turned on, the GBCOS on the CMS page shows all internal commands in front and at the end of the typed text. (see attached image)

Any idea on how to exclude this or to solve it?

litebox the bad is not working on my forum, have already activated the slideshow option and the folder litebox is at the root of my forum.

I use vbulletin 3.5 and not doing the rewrite of the image link at this point is perfect.

How about the CMS. I use this mod but the image is still too big on CMS. It works well on forum.

Mods works fine there is only a small bug in Lytebox. When you edit your post it wont work you have do a refresh. tested in firefox

Tested with v4.03 ... doesn't seem to work ...

Just opens pic up on a new page and if you click close, you end up exiting the entire browser page ...

it works to me but in some images resized, when i click on it, box appear and the size of the image is still resized , not the real size of the image..

I was just wondering if this could be incorporated into vBadvanced Dynamics, or other mod? What code would I need to add to the template to resize the images? Any help would be appreciated. :)

this mod here says only install and upload, at the official site says to modify the HEAD and other things that do not understand where to modify anything ......

I could not get it working in Firefox, in IE it opens the lithbox VERY SLOW and does not appear anything written below the image.

Awesome mod! It seems to be working well for me here:

But when you click on the images, the shaded lightbox takes up the whole screen, not just an area around the image. Is there a way to change this?

Version 4.04 has image resizing built-in so I've disabled that piece on this mod. However I'd still like to limit sig sizes etc. - is that function still working?

Yes, not working for me in 4.0.4 either. It has something to do with $vbulletin variable not being global in the postbit_display_complete hook, although fixing that part alone doesn't correct the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

I'd still like to be able to use the lytebox image viewing (which hasn't been added in 4.0.4) . . .

The default imageresizer "fix" of 4.0.4 doensn't work properly, so this mod should also be available for 4.0.4 please.

Hello

In researching how to fix another mod, it actually found a fix for this one on VB4.0.4

Remove the following code from postbit.css (Styles & Templates ->Style Manager->Edit Templates)

This removes the inbuilt VB4.0.4 image resizer and allows this mod to start working again.

Did you read my post directly above yours ? It has a fix to get the mod working on 4.0.4
