MARCO1 Hide All is not working, users can still see the links... why?

I upgraded... I see I hve version 4.0 installed but I get a message at Version Checker that says:
Current Version: 4.0
Latest Version: 4.0

An updated version has been released.

Download restriction for visitor is working, but links are still being allowed nevertheless I have restricted User Id for Visitors to be visible... why? I appreciate any help.

Edit: yes, it works perfect on 4.0.6! But the links in code tags are visible to guests. how can we fix that?

When I add an image or link in the post, it gives a database error. When I only write a simple text and post it, everything is OK. What's the problem?

How can I uninstall this plugin? I'm getting database error while posting a new thread with links or images.

Reverse everything you did in the install process.

Also, you guys shouldn't be so harsh toward the author. His product is FREE and he may update it as he pleases. Maybe he just doesn't have the time right now.

Thanks Guys, As I see the Mod is still working with 4.0.6 then it will work with 4.0.7, Does anyone tried it on 4.0.6 or 4.0.7 and it doesn't work with him ? If yes let me know so I can upgrade it in any of my free time.

Hi Marco....I installed it on 4.0.6 and it doesn't work.
I tried to hide URLs only for guests, but guests still see the links. Instead, if I try to hide links for both members and guests, when I try to open a forum thread the board gives me a Databaser Error

This is very good work but can a guest view the links once they become a member and don't have to reply?

i try it for vb 4.1 beta,database has failed..Do you know WHY ?

This is working fine for me with 4.1 Rel 2.

The only issue I have is when "Hide links from guests in threads / posts" is on, it hides the links in the actual post but the links in peoples signatures are still visible.

Any fix? TIA

Nice One, but when the member press "GO ADVANCE REPLY" the link is shown in Topic Review (Newest First). When you find posts started by the member you can see the links. All these can be seen without replying to the post. Can you do so some thing.

[S]4.1.1 here as well. I've uninstalled the mod, but still have the menu in the adminCP. Someone else mentioned it earlier and were told to uninstall another file. The file was never named that I saw?

Any ideas of how to remove this from the CP?
