Perhaps with all the ::cough:: crap ::cough:: you have installed, there is a conflict between mods? Blaming this mod is disingenious at best when plenty of others are successfully utilizing the mod?

Here is my first thought, How would such a feature be moderated? If I where to implement it that would probably be the first thing everyone would ask, is how do they control it and keep people from abusing it?

Involving moderators I think would be a mistake, so it would have to be purely honor system. But if there is a interface to do it, disputes are going to end up going to the moderators / admins.

To be honest I'm not sure I see how this would be a benefit, more then a potential headache, over me saying "I'll bet you 100 that ____ happens." and settling through the transfer cash feature.

But if you can sell me on it I'll put some though into it :)

Well, your "language.php" file isn't where it was expected to be. It should be in the "gameroom" folder, which should be in your forums root folder.

So where do we get more games for your system? Is there a pro version? What does the pro version offer that this free version doesn't have?

Try to update from 0.9.9rc to 1.0, the progress bar expand without stopping and the database crash.
I had to restore my database since the forum was completely out.

I responded on the other site, but it looks like your backend and frontend versions are out of sync, upload again making sure to overwrite everything. Clear your cache and reload.

The error you received is a table not getting removed properly on uninstall, won't effect anything as it is trying to redo something that is already done.

Your board problems likely came from taking down the product, but still having people trying to access the files (including banners)

You should never have to uninstall a product to upgrade, just tell it to overwrite.

If you have been editing your settings through the admin tab overwriting the settings file will not overwrite your settings. Nothing was changed in that file from the last update, I believe the last thing to go into it was the Reversi board colours so if they are in there its up to date.

Banning Individual Members?

Please tell me there is a way to ban a single specific member from using the gameroom?

After all my hard work I have to disable this wonderful mod because there is no way to ban individual users that I can find. :(

I always overwrite and still the same error.

Maybe vb doesn't like my 3 digit version numbering... I'll have to look into that.

Reuploaded with it told to ignore the error. If you have already installed this will do nothing, and nothing needs to be done. Just will prevent more questions about that :)

The error is because the column soundfx already exist, i just delete the column and the update recreate the column.
But if you run another update, the poblem come back till deleting the column.

Thing is it shouldn't try that again. each change comes with a version number, that way it only runs once, if you update it knows not to run that again. That field went in on 0.9.9, so it shouldn't try to add it again when going from 0.9.9 to 1.0.0

There where no database changes for 1.0.0 from 0.9.9, so the only thing that doesn't happen is the version number getting changed, everything should work properly. But it's been fixed now, so no one else should hit that.

ok im stupid, i fixed it.

i uploaded the 2 folders inside the upload folder but forgot to upload the main files (gameroom.php) to the root of my forum. thanks again for the great mod!

There is a easy way to solve that problem, you create a new user group with no permission for gameroom and you send specifics members to that group.

Found out what my problem was....I was uploading all the files in ASCII mode....when I switched my FTP program to auto it all worked. It works slow....but it works nonetheless.

Yes agreed I decided to do everything through VBs user groups since the control is very in depth. ;)

great great great mod, members really love it!

I have seen a couple of poker games end with confusing results.

one game i was in, player2 had 2 pair (queens and 3's) and player4 had 2 pair (jacks and 4's). the queen high should have won the hand but the game called it a tie and split the pot. is this correct?

and another game the person "with the most money" was able to bankrupt every other player by just raising every turn. isn't there supposed to be some method to allow a player to call and end the hand so that the person with the most money does not have the ability to automatically win regardless of what he has in his hand?

Members still like the plug in poker better , it is prettier can you copy the swf somehow :D

The only problem I'm having is that when I try to submit an event for people to bet on, it won't submit it. I can fill out all the info and when I click submit it won't do anything.
