The ability to upload is disabled in public version due to the need of improvement in security matters. Currently only direct url can be used but there's new development process for upload feature in v1.0.7 so stay tune :)

Been trying to set that up with the DownloadsII merge. Basically the two options I want out of it is download stats tracking and upload ability. Think I'll just hold off for awhile and see where this goes instead of going for the instant gratification.

Well a request when you get the upload feature working, please include an Import feature in the admin panel.
Oh and I think someone mentioned configuration settings to be placed into the admin section I def second that.

I'm thinking of some what a user file manager feature. Something like, members can upload media and manage them. The media link will make use of the Local URL feature to anti hot linking. Pretty much it's on the sketch now so few more days of headache before it becomes something :eek:

The reason Configurations not in the Admin CP is because it'll be limited and unable to save settings to the file.

Silvery, is there an option or will be, to have the flexibility to move the block up and down, depends on Admin's liking for which block on top of which block?

Hello,
I would like to say you created one AWESOME MOD For VB! The Installation was Very Easy! This product is very well put together and thought out. Although the following bugs and needs are apparent they in NO WAY Diminish the Luster of this Great Mod!

I would like to point out a few things I did run across while using this great product.
#1 - We Need a More In Depth Admin Changing Capability to change all the configs on this mod without having to physically edit the DNP Configuration File. Never Mind Changed Admin to Usergrp 5 for SuperMods, Since I am The Only Admin and I never Log In As Admin. WooHoo!
#2 Would Love to see an Option to Let Users Add An Album too.
#3 For Some reason I did have to edit the Config File and Put My Site URL in the top spots, using the ip addy in first spot made users go to a new opened tab/page.
#4 The Size of the People Posters on Side Column Bottom are Way Too Small!
#5 When Clicking on a Poster on Side Column Bottom and error comes up (The requested URL /192 was not found on this server.) not the correct path used for a persons profile, although on the songs clicking on the poster name goes to their page.
#6 Experiencing issues changing media data from admincp, adding a pic/poster works, although it does not show up in admicp, changing from audio to flash makes no difference, and unable to delete the media (Just goes to a blank screen) Now of course if you are the user and edit the media from within music.php everything is fine, also you can change any media you wanted to delete to some other media you do want to keep.
#7 Would Like to See Playlist in A Fixed Sized Box With Scroll Bar On Side for those of us that have expanded the Playlist from 10 to like 50.
#8 Would Like To See A Few More Features To Also Make This A Movie DB MOD as Well, Like Add In Actor/Actress. Multiple Embedded Videos on One Page for a Movie to be Embedded.
#9 Maybe The ability To Select Multiple Artists or Actors for A Collaborated effort.
#10 Would Love Capability to Choose What Forums New Topics can ignore or have it check permissions, since I do have an adult forum and dont really need to see those titles displayed in a public area.

8 - I'm thinking of a media related playlist. Not a user's playlist but a preset playlist of all media that are related to each other.

9 - This option has to be omitted because every artist requires one query and a long list of artists will tremendously slow down the whole server.

10 - It is known that there is a more advanced new thread plugin being developed. You can see that example on the homepage of dnp network. It is running by the same ajax core system like musicbox.

I have seen many popular sites that shows 3 Ad units and 2 Link units of AdSense for Content on a page.

If you are not sure, you may just include the following 3 ad units:

• Vertical Ads (Side columns)
• Leaderboard Ads (Center)
• Square Ads (Inside player)

because these are the main ad units.

This error simply means the file cannot be found. Verify your FLV link to make sure it is directly accessible. :)

This is short url, special configure Mike, did you follow this guide Tip : A short link redirect

A hint to test direct link is, if you input it into address bar you will have a request to download that file. Otherwise, if you see a webpage or anything different than that, it is not direct link.

I found this direct link for you, check if it works. If it does I'll give you further instruction in detail and add support for photobucket in Instant! Guide.
