This mod sounds great but for some reason I am getting, "you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

Even though I'm on my admin account... whats up with that? Anyone know?

Set your usergroup permissions.

hello , i want to know is that working for 3.8.2 or its just for 3.8.1 . I installed it on 3.8.2 and when i click on add Classifieds this error came up in window

I think this are great. I was with you from the start and paid for the copyright removal. That is only fair. People that removed it with out paying is stealing. That will come back to them it always does. Hope you keep up the great work.

Ps. Plus you did not ask for and arm and a leg?? Just a few bucks..

Just post underneath those rules. Incidentally, those rules aren't active as they're all commented out.

I am new to your work. I have not had time to enjoy this specific module as of yet because I am stilling having an issue and I just installed it about 5 hours ago but I have no problem in saying that I greatly appreciate all the work and effort that you do. For those who take claim and remove your copyright....get a life and do it yourself lazy a**. Just goes to show you that some people are just to dam lazy and inconsiderate to people who actually care and want to help out people such as myself and others that give credit WHEN IT IS RIGHTFULLY DUE!!! I will definitely be checking out your site and registering with you.

1) Is there a way it can AUTO Publish after pressing save!?

2) When I upload a photo, does it auto resize the photos? If not, is there a way to do so!?

3) Can we list a product, like of how many we have in stock? So then 10 people can each purchase 1 product then after ran out of stock, it closes the post?

Ok I got this installed however when I go to usergroup manager to give permissions there is no option for the classifieds?!?! The only options I have for classifieds is in the vbulletin admincp options. Oh where oh where did I go wrong?!?

hi there the only thing that you might have done wrong is not uploaded all the files.
try re-uploading all the files then refreash the admincp before going to the usergroup manager.
There is one other thing that it might be that is that the admincp did not rebiuld the bitfields so try this in the admincp
admincp/index.php?do=buildbitfields

then try the usergroup manager

I re-uploaded twice and the only thing I am missing or seem to be missing is the ability to give permisions. I did the admincp/index.php?do=buildbitfields and it said it did need to rebiuld so I refreshed the admincp and still no permisions so I logged out completly and went in on a new tab and still no luck sigh

Try a trick.
  1. Remove includes/xml/bitfield_classifieds
  2. Login to your admincp and goto Usergoups, and just open a usergroup. Normally it must rebuild the bitfields as bitfield_classifieds is missing.
  3. Upload again the file bitfield_classifieds to includes/xml/bitfield_classifieds (please avoid a common mistake uploading it to classifieds/includes/)
  4. Logon again to admincp and try to change again usergroup permissions.

I love this system and I'd like to use it to transition to it from the single forum we use but the items being 'sold' are actually items in an MMO and no real money transactions are taking place. How difficult would it be to:
  • Add the ability to add/remove currencies
  • Turn off all PayPal functionality (maybe make this a toggle in the admincp, allow PP On/Off?)
  • The ability to add/remove fields from the "Buy it now" screen

Basically isolate the system so that people can post, view and 'buy' stuff on the classified system but not interact with any external payment provider. :)

you need to edit the classifieds_approvead template.

I get the following when trying to use the Classifieds RSS feed with vB's RSS feed manager. (want a discussion forum for items in the Classifieds section and figured importing them as new thread in a "Classifieds discussion" forum would be perfect.

Nevermind. My bad. It was a permissions issue with the classifieds module. (RSS bot is not "logged in", so I had to set the permissions for visitors to be able to use the Classifieds).

I will be adding in 2 more payment options for this when i start working on it.
There will be credit card validation and cash payment.
With the cash payment they will only get the goods sent to them once payment has been passed to the seller.

Hope this helps you out.

Will you be introducing a Sold feature. So if the seller sells the item they can mark as sold and it will remove the buy it link.

Thank you, but in the case someone wants to send the goods via express (dhl), other and pay when the good is delivered?
Do you have any ideia when this is going to be ready? I was thinking to put this working but only with paypal doesn?t fit.
