Fixed this Problem. Upgrade to 2.3 PL1 and go into AdminCP - Mod-System - update Counter - "Adjust Threads"
The Bug, more than 1 entry in database for the users notification. I didn't test it with unregistered users - so pls, let me know what happend, when an unregistered user can download attachments.
The unused permission "Can use it" is now in use ! If there is no permission, the user can't:
edit the settings
click installed
click nominate

The other thing is, I can't check all Browers. I will do it for IE, Safari, Mozilla FF and OPERA. All others, like: iCab, Camino, Google ... I don't have and no one has all browsers.

what i cant see is the button for New Mod
it displays new thread instead and think this should be changed to match vbulletins version

1 issue and 1 bugfix. This mod is 99.9% perfect and I really appreciate the authors contributions because I've been hoping for this exact plugin for over a year.

Issue: Unregistered users see a "Downloaded" prefix next to threads in the thread list pages. I'm guessing that the mod doesn't fully disable tracking unregistered users. There needs to be a way to completely disable the mod for unregistered users, otherwise it treats all unregistered users as one user so if one anonymous user downloads they all see a "Downloaded" prefix.

Bugfix: I noticed that in the latest release "xyz" was showing up as a prefix before the "Downloaded" prefix. To fix this remove "xyz " from the plugin installation xml file. For the English version, it can be found on line 3170 for Mod System 2.3 PL1.

I must have messed up my .zip extensions. They worked fine until I added this. Now I can't upload .zip files.

Let me know if anyone else have this problem.

This is for the time being the last version - sorry. I have another 4 projects to do.
I forgott "similar mods". It will work as a beta.
Tags must seperated by a comma and the tag option must be set to ON.
Bugfixes is no problem - but any adding of ....

I love this mod, and good job with it. :)

I've got one or two questions:

It seems when a topic has more than one attachment, it creates more than one topic. Is there a solution to this? Is it a feature, or a bug?

Also, is there a way of creating a set of blocks for vbPortal?

What key features would I need to include in terms of PHP calls? vbPortal allows a snippet of PHP to be entered, and can be wrapped in a template of the box style.

anyhow i have a question

is this mode only for sumbiting mods by members

i mean can i like used for other stuff

like for example if i have a forum where ppl create a Visual base stuff and share it with other ppl and they all can grade it and give him a feed back

or other similar stuff

will this mod work there also

i hope i made my pont clear

and again

Best mod ever.

Questions:
/modsystem_versioncheck.php?product=xxx
How do I find the ID to put in place of xxx? I tried using the thread ID number, but that didn't work for me.

Also, I'm still seeing that if a user isn't logged in to the forum they see a "Downloaded" prefix next to most of the thread titles because the modification seems to be keeping track of unregistered users the same way as registered. This groups all unregistered users together like one user so if one anonymous user downloads an item it marks all anonymous users as having downloaded it.

The download logs are also keeping track of downloads outside of the selected mod forums, which I don't want it to monitor. This may also have something to do with users not having to be registered to download from other forums.

Oh my goodness *g - let me think, if my english is so good to explain.

When you wrote a mod and your product (product.xml) lets you know the productid.
example: product=myproduct.

Next is, you post your mod into your forum. At the mod-settings you enter myproduct as productid.

Also in the product (product.xml) the versioncheck url is: http://....../modsystem_versioncheck.php?product=myproduct

I just came across 2 more issues with the latest version of this Mod.

1. Soft-deleted threads are still being used when calculating the statistics.
2. I used to be able to click on the /showgroups.php?group=codemod , designmod, coder and designer links and they worked perfectly. Now it looks like they are all pointing to the default /showgroups.php file which lists the moderators of my forum. Did these links break for anyone else in the most recent version? It's supposed to list the threads in the design and code forums and then the users who contribute to both those forums.
