Hi,
Mod has been installed and seems to be working fine. However, I have a questions. In the VB Options in the AdminCP, there is an area called "iTrader Settings" One of the options is called "Contact Staff On Negative Rating?" If set to yes, this will send an email to iTrader Admins when a user receives a negative rating. Where do I identify the iTrader Admin or Admins? Thanks |

DJ,
The only usergroup permissions that I can locate in the administrators usergroup that has anything to do with iTrader are: - Can View Ratings - Can Rate Other Users - Can Administrate Ratings I don't see anything about the admins receiving email notifications on negitive feedback, or where I can add the iTrader admins email address. Thanks! |

Hi DJ, had you any luck figuring this problem? I looked for anything all weekend, but I'm limited to what I can do "coding" wise. I tested everything I could.....adding code/removing code/moving code around. I got nuttin |

Please don't take this personal, but I have really noticed when I read through the 23 pages of this thread, but when users ask a question, they're told, have you done this? When they could be told try this, step 1, step 2..., and explain. I think I asked/questioned three or four times about something, only to find out that I have that setting set properly and it's still not working. As an estimation, we could probably lose half the pages of questions and answers in this mod if questions were actually answered directly. JD, thanks again for your assistance, I appreciate what the knowledgeable people are doing here, but not everyone is at that level and they do require clear explanation. Thanks. |

For one thing, telling a user to do Step 1, Step 2 isn't practical until you have some idea of the users level of experience. There's hundreds of users on this site daily and it's impossible to guess, or even remember, what a given user's knowledge of vB is. So if someone asks a basic question, you give a basic answer and only expand upon it if follow up questions are asked. This gives you a better idea of where they're at, and not to mention most of the time you could be thinking something totally different and answering a completely different question then the one asked. In this case, I didn't really know you didn't understand where the permissions where set. When you asked where do I identify the iTrader Admin and I said in your User Group settings, there's no way I could have known that - Can Administer Ratings wouldn't be clear to you. Not until you asked a follow up question. Put simply, I just can't know when you didn't understand me until you tell me you didn't understand. And one can never know how much detail to add to an answer, without explaining everything you'd ever need to know at once. Basically, just repeating info you may not need. Proper support, even though I'm not the one supporting this modification, means Q&A back and forth until we both figure out what the problem is. That will always be more efficient then me just telling you what I don't know you don't know. Now that we know you have actually set your iTrader Admins, we have to find a few more things. One, we need to know if your Admins all have their email addresses up to date. The other is we need to know if you email is just going into their Spam box. And we also need to know if emails are even being sent out by your server in the first place. Now, there's about a half dozen reasons why these could or could not be the case. But we need to figure that out first before we can move on to something else. |

hey guys, how can I show "iTrader 0/0" in a normal post?
Like extreme overclocking |
Hi
I dont know if it was mentioned yet, but the "correct" url depends on the hostname setting and when its set to "domain.tld", URLs with "www.domain.tld" are rejected and when the host/sitename is set to "www.domain.tld", then "domain.tld" is rejected. Is there a way to allow both urls? |
I've tried quite a few different things such as uninstalling, reinstalling and over riding yad yada yada, but always up with an error when editing usergroup permissions
Code:
Database error in vBulletin 3.7.4: |
Remove the mods bitfield file from the xml folder.
|
But then i can't set the permissions for this modification... or can i :D

Jason, I've got iTrader 2.0.1a installed on one of my forums and when strict URL checking is enabled, the system won't allow a moderator to modify any member ratings (they are not one of the members who started the referenced trade thread). The itrader_checkurl() function is always returning an invalid URL.
I checked the current 2.1.0 release and the function code did not change, so I assume the problem remains with the current version. Any idea how I could modify the function so that moderators (super mods/admins) can modify ratings? |

Last night we upgraded our forum from 3.7.3 to 3.7.4. Now when someone tries to submit a feedback via iTrader, it tells them they do not have permission.
I tested it out as Admin and tried to leave feedback for another user. It allowed me to leave it but then it posted the feedback I left for the other member to MY feedback. Any suggestions on how to restore this to work properly? |

Looks like the settings were reset, go into the "Usergroup Manager" and set the "iTrader Permissions" to each usergroup permissions... :) |
I am having trouble getting the proper trader rating to display on the postbit template. If you go to:
http://www.leanbulk.com/forum/waterc...g-fitexpo.html As you see, the member Sonny has a rating of 9 being displayed, but if you click the number and look at his actual ratings he has 18. It hasn't been updating for a couple months now. Does anyone have any ideas? |

has anyone made their own memberinfo_block for this? so that it could be diplayed in a block on the right hand side along with the others? |

so I uploaded all the itrader php files and xml files properly. I did nothing different from my other products such as vbgarage and the photo album is my point. Or did I miss something?
I can access the itrader software in my admin cp. I have the options to change things. Meaning I can go to vbulletin options--> itrader settings and everything is normal in that department. I made it "active" Duplicate User Rating Time Limit was changed to 24 like asked, same with Edit Time Limit was changed to 5. So I added the proper html coding to my margin and the itrader link comes up fine as well. I go to click on the link and after clicking I get this ERROR MESSAGE.... One other thing is that in my Usergroups permission area, I don't see itrader settings. The readme file said to able the settings, since by default it is shut off. I didn't see anything in that area. I did however turn on itrader tho through vbulletin options. -ERROR MESSAGE- Warning: require_once([path]/includes/functions_itrader.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/itrader_global.php on line 24 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/content/b/o/n/bonesz28/html/forum/includes/functions_itrader.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/content/b/o/n/bonesz28/html/forum/itrader_global.php on line 24 |

I have just installed this. I can see everything in the control panels. I have setup the User groups but I can not see anything on the forum itself!
Nothing is in the menu bar or postbit. I have uploaded everything into the correct area but it won't work - any ideas? |

Does anyone know what steps to take to create a page called "Member Trade Ratings" to show all members itrader stats on one page?
