1) set some usergroups to allow credit awards on posts. you probably want this on at least admins and super mods.

2) find a post and award it whatever youd like. also, if you one of those usergroups, you can also add credits through the award link on profiles, if users dont post often enough to have posts to award :-p

yes i checked it and it wasnt there, so i added per the instructions, but it still doesnt show. It actually doesnt matter really now that i notice that the navbar links to the same location, most of my members will probabaly use that.

There is a paypal to points paid addon, and vBCommerce will have that kind of functionality (using the credits)

Also, another error has been found, although it ONLY affects you if you have fresh installed 1.3. If so, please upload the new credits_time.php file in the package to your forum/includes/cron folder. There is a small error with Scheduled tasks :-p again, only affects fresh installs, NOT upgraders.

I currently use iCash points system, which seems to have fallen to the hack graveyard. Is the conversion of credits from iCash to VBCredits easy? also is the vbookie plugin working? and ALSO! can this hack be used with IBPro Arcade? :D

can any one help me out, the credits system installed perfect, and great work in its production. But i can not get the quiz to work, even the mod on its own. It keep asking for my admin password. I even done it on my test forum, and same thing. Is this a regular problem for the quiz installs on the 3.6.7 version?

I uploaded an updated version from dark with cron fix of vbcredits 1.3, on our site as I dont have edit access here for dark. It covers a number of other bug fixes which I hope work...

Just follow the instructions in the zip and you should be good to go, as for IBPro, its on the roster for version 1.4 if all goes well. Darks been pulling 72 hours awake, me, I lost count... I'm sure he's still coding in his mind even if his eyelids are closed.....

Did you read up in previous posts to see if you missed anything with the quiz hack, as far as I know its working, from darks localhost tests with 1.3, however I don't personally use the hack my self so haven't tested it on vbcredits.com yet ;) You can always PM Dark here or on our site and see if you can work out solution to your issue. Other than than thanks about hack...

Our next planed updates include vBCommerce (Shop Addon) We're hoping time time this week, pending our day job work/time, and vBCredits$ Addon, which you'll be able to turn credits into real cash >;) more info on site later about that :D

I have disabled credits for Reigstered Members. But I want to not display them. For example when a registered members posts, I will see: "Credits: 0". The problem is that I do not want to display that credits text IF it is 0. Why to display if it's 0 ? How would I make it like that?

If i made a donation, i have the possibility to take a Fee. So, is ist possible to give the Fee to another user, maybe in a future release?

Do u also plan to write a Bank System? Wich is little bit better than the ibank. Nice to have would be the possibility do define a User as Bank User, where the interessting rate is taken from.

Why is there no option to exclude Usergroups from beeing counted by the Credits system?

If you want to disable showing credits for users who has 0 credits, do it this way.

Go to Manage Plugins and edit Display Credits In Postbit:

vBCommerce has about a week for initial release. According to vborg rules, I cannot discuss pricing details about paid addons, you'll have to talk to me in private or check out the website.

It might be hardcoded, I will check and give you instructions on fixing the width of the table for now.

You can set usergroups to 0 values to disable them from getting credits. Check out the usergroup editor. No switch yet for display of those users... guess I could try to work it in.

Did you reupload the credits_tim.php file from the second update I sent? (Third "release" of 1.3)? That corrects fresh installs for scheduled tasks. When you reupload, you might want to perform the task via the ACP scheduled task manager to makeup for the one you missed.

It's very easy, just install the converter, then uninstall the converter and Icash (the converter was made into product form for ease of use, and once its "installed" (finished converting) it doesnt do anything from then on so best to delete it.

I based the donation fee off the system used by PayPal, which takes the fee off of the amount the donatee receives. I might stick in an option.

Unfortunately the plugin takes care of trimming decimals :( This raw mode bypasses the checks. I could make something unique for you, but I would want to apply it directly to your board. 1.4 will have a template for postbits to help fix this.

Did you put an amount above 0? if not you get that message. Although it should say 'Invalid Amount Specified'

also if you put a nonexistant person or yourself, or someone who cant get credits, it should say invalid person.

No I put 5 and got that, so then I put 105 and still nothing. The test name has 105. And for the persons name, I started typing it and it automatically filled it in so that is right. The board is offline as I am testing everything first.

i run a forum for technology and iam going to give out prizes based on the quality of posts every month...myself and other super moderators will give points for each thread and post everyday....and at the end of a month we will select the person with the most credits and give him/her a prize...

does VB credits have this option where only a particular user group can give points to the registered members ?

Yes it does, set the usergroup to allow post award system, and that usergroup will see a little coin icon on postbits to open up a little ajax award menu. also works on profiles for those groups

Sure, I wouldnt mind seeing it, but keep in mind I already intend to make my own banking system anyway, which might be in the 1.4 release. Did you use the hooks by any chance?
