Can someone help me?? I installed the 3.0 in my site and it works great but I can only eidt options in the VB options part of EWchat and the sidebar is giving me a DB error when I try to go to an edit section. Do I need to enter my sites DB details in to chat_ajax.php in order to edit options in the admin side bar?? Thanks in advance!!

I currently have the old version of Zero's vbChat installed in my database, so installing this new version is giving me problems. Can anyone advise on how to remove the old version? Yes, I screwed up and forgot to remove it during my upgrade to 3.6.5 a while back.... so start yelling at me now!

Yea, I would be happier to see the ads removed. And you should reconsider the price for the pro version. ;)

Thats all there is now. You need to delete the AdminCP files from the previous versions.

Thanks alot!! I am back to normal now!! The chat room works great but the smiles do not appear and I have checked everything!! I wish that I could buy the Pro edition but I don't think it is available yet mor is it??

Its not ready yet sadly. I will have it ready as fast as possible.

As for the smilies yea I didnt build them back in yet debating how I want them to look with the new layout im playing with.

and my vb version is 3.6.5
actually i am facing a database error from the control panel as shown in the attachments...
and inside the vbchat box...the test and the emotion are not displaying...
please find me a solution for my problem...

You didnt delete the old files like was specified in the install.txt file.

2.9.3 is no longer available for download.

i did that and still the problem is found

No if you deleted the files you wouldnt have any admincp navigation on the lite version since that remaining from v2. :)

Thanks Tim, but why is it a smaller file size than 3.0?

3.0.1 with updated templates released correctly this time.

Its getting smaller as I clean up residual code and other things before I start building in the new features.

Everything works ok except Greek language both in posts and usernames into chat

it need a font size/color chooser, cuz users cant indentify well...

and, they cant use messsage for each message...

As i see, with this options this chat will be the better option to use :)

DOH!!!, went from 3.0.0 to 3.0.1 and now the chat text area is constantly jumping from top of the text to bottom of the text

I still have problems with Greek Lang. As i said before i can see ?????????? instead of normal fonts. If anyone have any solution or any recommendation please reply.

Im still debating what will make it into the lite version.

Not enjoying it at all, I wish you could let us know what files we need to remove from the server when there is an upgrade and also for some reason messages are not showing in the chat when posted and now it's telling me I don't have permission to access the chatroom....

There's also no options in Usergroups for me to play with.

Not a moan, just pointing things out ;-)

I will put together more detailed steps later today hopefully. :)
