Have you looked under Quick Links?

Forza 01-27-2007 03:50 PM

finally installed it on my live board. the script gives some very interesting and often unexpected information (like the huge amount of people using a 800x600 ratio).

So thanks for this!

a feature i would love to see in a future release is general trafic information (unique visitors per day/week/month, pageviews etc.)

My Hoster don't support it...

You get LOCK errors in vBulletin crons too, don't you? Cause if you hoster doesn't support it, some of vBulletin's crons won't work either.

Dustman 02-04-2007 05:00 PM

Sry, my Englisch is not so good...

I get every 15 minutes this Error Message:

Quote:

Ask them to enable LOCK/UNLOCK permission for the MySQL user.

DementedMindz 02-04-2007 06:05 PM

Psionic Vision thanks again for the update.

HMBeaty 02-05-2007 02:15 AM

EDIT: Nevermind, fixed

blogtorank 02-05-2007 02:55 AM

Thanks for the update again!

Makc666 02-05-2007 10:06 AM

Psionic Vision
Compare this one with you 1.4.4 with something like Araxis Merge v6.5.
I fixed all errors I was speaking about in this post.
This will help you to include them very easily in 1.4.5 ;)

jw00dy 02-05-2007 05:10 PM

Updated, thank you!

Yes I have looked there. I guess the code is either misplaced or messed up either or I would not doubt with me doing the work....lol I'll look it over but I have had problems placing items into my drop downs I think it has something to do with the skin. I use Surge does anyone else have this problem or a fix?

Thanks

encryption 02-07-2007 08:21 AM

any ideas why I'm getting this ? Mod was working fine yesterday and I only had the datacenter add a new hard drive to my server last night and this morning I wake up to find my site is down and thats the error on the front page.

By the way, it'd be cool if you defined some major linux distros

DementedMindz 02-07-2007 01:42 PM

I dont think he was being rude he was just asking a question I was puzzled to by the reply.

If that's the case, the post doesn't make any sense - the typo has been fixed. That's why I am not sure why he is talking about. And rudeness has nothing to do with this...

karabalsagun 02-07-2007 07:26 PM

Umm... I think I'd choose the wrong word, sorry I'm not a native english speaker =)

As I stated in my previous post, can psiStats detect which Linux distro I am using?

No, it cannot.

So the data that is displayed is only for a 15 minute interval? Not accumlated?

Anyway I could keep my stats private without the rest of the world looking at them? Once the crawler(s) index the website in a search engine, anyone can just click on the link and see your stats. Anyway I Can prevent that?

Thanks

Betablocker 02-10-2007 12:41 PM

Thanks for this update.

Now all my sites are showing the correct Display Colors & Resolutions

Thanks again.

Thanks

Goto your Admin cp
then goto vBulletin Options
find psistats 2006
there find Usergroups Allowed To View Statistics
there you will find the option as to what group can see the stats
6 is Admins only

Hope this helps

iardon 02-10-2007 02:55 PM

Psionic,

If I decide to uninstall this mod, will it remove the added tables for me or do I have to manually remove them from the database?

Thanks.

It will remove them automatically. Why would you want to uninstall it though?

Oh, nothing against your mod as it's a good one but I just don't find myself looking at my stats that often. Maybe once a week. So I just thought it's better not to have it installed if I really don't use it.

I don't think stats are supposed to be viewed on a daily basis... I look at them only twice a month, yet I still have 'em installed. :)

enrique007 02-11-2007 05:11 AM

Thanks Betablocker, that solve the problem.

Pete C 02-11-2007 11:43 AM

Thank you. A useful and informative addition - *installed*

Just one minor problem: It's counting Admins and Supermods correctly, but it's showing 2 additional Moderators. We used to have 1 Supermod and 2 Mods, we now have 3 Supermods and no Mods but the display says Supermods = 3 Mods = 2. Any way to fix this?

(if the answers been posted already, may I have the link please?)

Please check your forum moderators and make sure that the supermoderators are not also listed as moderators of specific forums.

i have a problem with psistats:
It doesnt show any statistiscs about the users. Only the statistics about the forum (How may Posts, PMs, Threads etc.) are ok.

But statistics like the countries of the users, the browsers etc. aren't showed. The site is empty then...

Whats wrong?

Have you waited 15 minutes since the installation?

toddos 02-11-2007 07:25 PM

yes, about 14 days. ;)

akanevsky 02-11-2007 07:38 PM

That is odd. Have you enabled the crons? Also, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the product xml.

toddos 02-11-2007 09:21 PM

yes i had enabled it, but i always got emails with sql errors like

Invalid SQL:

REPLACE INTO `psistats_cache` (`cdata`, `ctype`, `csid`)
VALUES ('82.207.241.82', 'country', '82.207.241.82_country'), ('Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1', 'useragent', '82.207.241.82_useragent');

That's the problem. Please contact your hosting provider.

toddos 02-11-2007 09:45 PM

i contacted him, but he couldnt help. He didnt know why this script shutdown the server?

It's not the script. It's the server. This error can only happen if the MySQL server is being restarted. If the hosting provider thinks it is the script, then he is clearly incompetent and you might want to switch to a different one.

toddos 02-12-2007 04:59 AM

andyes i know now. the server was rebooted every few hours. Now it is set to eery 6 hours a reboot.

but this couldnt be the problem because psistats doesnt work. It can only be a problem, if psistats tries to write something in the database during the reboot. But the reboot takes about 6 seconds or less.. so ...
