Use 3.6.4 xml instead since there is no template changes between 3.6.4 & 3.6.5

Check the images permissions and that all images placed in the relevant folder (path)

I am using the chestnut style, and damn its great !!!!! Love your work allan.

Just 1 question though, in Internet Explorer, my threads show up in center of page in forumdisplay. (only in IE - not in firefox) why ? and how do i fix this ?

:Judge: 06-20-2007 09:06 AM

I have paid for the new 3.6.7 version of this style and seem to have a slight issue with the JSFX header menu working in the PP Gallery that I hope someone here might be able to help me with.

In the Photopost Gallery of my site I get a JSFX error for the FAQ button. Please keep in mind that I have made NO changes to the header at all, the FAQ button works fine on every other page and it is ONLY the FAQ button that displays the error when the arrow is placed over it within the gallery. See this at www.CecilCountyCitizens.com/gallery/index.php

My guess is that I am over looking something small but being just the faq button in the gallery only is the strangest damn thing.

Yes I have contacted Allan via email twice about this, the first time he directed me to https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=125 for directions on how to add a button after I said that no changes had been made that it was still default. Never did get a response to the 2nd email so I am hoping that another user here might have a suggestion for me.

Thanks.

Sure Allan I would be happy to get you login details. I do not believe this is an error on your part at all, hence the reason I never sent a 3rd email :p

Thanks for taking time out to take a peak!

The fix is to edit the header and head include, I changed 'faq' to jojo and that worked.

For future reference, I had this issue, twice now.

I just fixed it again. Lines 53, 54, 55 of the "header" template are the files you need to edit. Check the case, the "id='FAQ'" needs to agree with the onMouseover statements above it in the "FAQ" section of the rollovers.

HTH!

WarDoGG 06-21-2007 04:41 AM

this is how it shows up in center. . plzz help !

It's a custom modification, by default, this text is on the left.

Do you have edit threadbit or forumdisplay template ?

santimariani 06-21-2007 11:51 AM

I have upgraded my forum to 3.6.7, and now I am having log in issues. When I try accessing the usercp, faq, etc., I am asked to once again log in, something I did not have to do before. Is this a known issue?

By the way, I am still using the version for 3.6.5, not the new one.

Thanks!

santimariani 06-21-2007 11:58 AM

I am verifying that the log in issue is indeed with the style. I created a completely new style and can log in fine. Any fixes for this, Allan? :)

I can send you the file that you sent to me if you don't believe me. I had this issue with the free version and with the paid version along with the untranslated subheadings in the paid version.

If I buy the new style, will I have to go and manually make all the changes that I did for the current one in order for the mods to work (such as the mood mod), or will it somehow replace the older one and keep the edits? Also, I am guessing that by the smilie other users have run across the log in problem and you are absolutely sure that the new style will fix it, right? Just checking these things before I shell out $20!

Nevermind. Got it fixed.

santimariani 06-27-2007 07:28 PM

Using that program that you mentioned...

How long will it take to have the new, purchased style have all the template changes that I made on the 3.6.5 version? I need to know what time commitment I am looking at to see about the timing of the purchase. Thanks!

I haven't looked at this template myself however I ran into this problem while working on my own work, the problem I had was:

<center>

Forum

</center>

Firefox realizes that what you are really after is centering the next tag, Internet explorer in its infinite wisdom thinks you want to change the default alignment to everything between the tags to Center, therefore if you rely on the default of left align between <center> tags instead of specifying it you will run into this problem.

Again I have not looked at this template specifically, I just recognized the same symptoms I had run into.

Allan,

Do you know about how long it takes to upload this new style and make all the changes using the software you recommended? I need to know how much time I'll need to install this style and have it working in order to see if I can do it right now or not.

Thanks SO much!
