There must be, that's a vB forum. I wish I had the answer because that's one of the coolest things that I've seen done.

What happened with the Colums of the Sub Foren? They are not in one row.
In the old Version, there was a fix.. where i can found that?

Yes, it's another modification (not released here). It means 10 latest updated threads.

I would release it but it's little tricky to set it up. For every forum with sub-forums I've created separate product where you set target forum (where last x threads will be shown instead of last post info) and subforums IDs from where latest threads are listed.

I'd love this mod to go with the sub-forum manager.

Valter 09-11-2007 09:53 PM

It has been released:
Cyb - Last Post Info Enhancements

applyimage 09-12-2007 12:36 AM

Perfect for what I wanted, forum is visually much better now. Thanks! :)

carubmun 09-12-2007 01:53 PM

Can i do THIS with this mod?
(Scroll down a bit to where the NFL teams start)

It shows the sub forum, an image for each subforum, and the last post + stats for that subforum.

I want to be able to do something like that.
But i cant figure out how with this mod, maybe its not built to do this?

If so does that site use something else or is it all custom done and not released to the public?

MotMann 09-12-2007 05:33 PM

@ Cybernetec .. what happened with an answer?
With the Problems of some Users, that the Sub Foren not in one Column?

HouseOfAtlas 09-14-2007 12:40 PM

Edit: Nevermind... found it :)

profanitytalker 09-16-2007 12:47 AM

Hi, is their a hack where I can exclude a forum from having a subforum?

stonner 09-18-2007 08:55 AM

hi,

great hack, thanks for sharing.

one question:

it's applied on my forum and it's working.

But I want the last category 'About TDF' to look like in the attachment and the other categories and forum should stay as it is now.

How do i have to set the options for that?

Thank you

Valter 09-19-2007 04:42 AM

"About TDS" should be forum, not category.

Then make "news", "help", and "commendation & criticism" sub-forums of "about TDF".

Then exclude "About TDS" from arranging into columns (in hack settings).

Thanks for yet another great mod Cybernetec. Working as advertised on 3.6.7.

I would however like to change the sort order of subforums on forumhome when in columns.

Instead of being sorted 'horizontally':

Column 1............Column 2
Subforum A........Subforum B
Subforum C........Subforum D

Would prefer it sorted 'vertically':

Column 1............Column 2
Subforum A........Subforum C
Subforum B........Subforum D

I took a look at the index globals assuming the output could be found and modified there, but couldn't figure it out.

Any assistance would be appreciated!

Cybernetic: can this feature be added?

Valter 09-19-2007 07:41 AM

This will make script more complicated without a good reason.

It's easier to go to Forum Manager and update display order.

stonner 09-22-2007 02:25 AM

Is it possible to add a column with the number of started threads in total?

thank you

kollam003 09-24-2007 12:00 PM

clicks install

periphrastic 09-25-2007 04:02 PM

installed & thank you for another delightful modification

Dream 09-26-2007 06:35 AM

Great mod, thanks.

Basit 09-30-2007 12:56 AM

Hi,

First of all thanks for this beautiful hack. But for some reasons it is not working on my forum http://www.urdupoet.net/forum

Any idea where i made a mistake ?

sub forum depth is set to 1, but still not showing 2 or 3 columns.

Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Smiry Kin's 09-30-2007 06:05 AM

You have to disable "Enable CSS Subforums Modification" in vBulletin Options "vBSEO.com 1.0 Style Modifications"

MotMann 09-30-2007 01:39 PM

i would like this also

MotMann 10-13-2007 09:02 PM

I think here is suport? What happened with the questions from the Users?

Special with the Subforum in one column?

Antonio Pereira 10-16-2007 12:07 AM

Its possible to show the same in the sub-sub-forums ?

Like:
Forum > Sub-forum > sub-sub-forums
d
e
f
g

or

Forum > Sub-forum > sub-sub-forums > sub-sub-sub-forums
d
e
f
g

Best regards

That looks like a default forum layout to me (apart from the theme), the sub-forum list looks like that out of of the box, though you'll have to fiddle with the AdminCP->vBulletin Options->Forum Listings Display Options to bring up the sub-forum listings on forumhome/forumdisplay -- Hope that helps.
