Maybe there wasn't one :)
Dunno how others handle it, but I only send update emails when critical/security relevant bugs have been fixed.

Then you most likely did smth. wrong.
Check that all plugins are installed and active, check if the template is there.

not working for 3.5.1 it installed but can't see or find the display hit counter in admin cp forum as stated in the instructions :ermm:
