Sorry for this misunderstanding

I look around for a solution.
At the moment i have no idea.
I use the IE 6.0 and dont see any line on the top of your side.
Maybe there more users here, with the same problem. I am sure, together we find a solution for this.

PcFreak,

It looks as if it's not your fault, I am looking at it now, and it shouldn't have any relation to the statistics. Just one question, if you do not mind. Can you please tell me, how can I check in a template (header), what browser the user is using? I think I have to come up with different header versions for IE and the rest.

Many thanks and sorry for the misunderstanding.

I have couple questions.

1. Is there a Read me text for this mod cause I downloaded the zip and couldnt find the read me text.
2. In version 2.0 we can configure things through admincp and after uninstallation I still have the StatisticSetting. How can i get rid of it ?
3. In version 3 can we control it through admincp also ?
4. System check didn't work at all. Didn't show any information (see attached file) Is there a way to fix this ?

Thanks awesome statistics.

Clicked Install

1) My mistake. I have forgot to add the installation_english.txt. in the last zipfile.
Is fixed now.

2) find in admincpIndex.php
PHP Code:

    //##### Statistik Funktionen by PcFreak START #####

construct_nav_option("General Statistic Settings",'statistikadmin.php?do=statistik_general','<br />');

construct_nav_group("Statisticsettings");

//##### Statistik Funktionen by PcFreak START #####

remove it

3) Yep and much more.

4) Download the zip.file again. You must do one step to activate a counter.
This step is explained in the installation_english.txt Text (Step 6)

Not the statistic is the problem. It?s your portal.
vBadvanced is a really very good modification. But it is change so much the orginal vBulletin file structur.
At the moment i have no solution for this portal problem.
Hrm. So what is the problem/conflict w/ vBAdvanced and vB Statistics?

I would love to install this hack, as I could really make use of it to attract advertisers, but I am running vBadvanced CMPS and I would need to be certain that I could use it without any bugs...

Is anyone planning on finding a solution to this problem?

Hello

I have now 3 time again installed this hack, but I get no statistics at some fields.
I would not know how that comes, I have really done everything such as am described, but nothing helps. I had in the beginning already a wrong message from my database.
Code:

mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '-_drl
            LIKE 'pm'
            ' at line 3

But that I had solved by taking away FROM $dbname from de forum.php (thnx to Ian Emu-UK)
Here you can examine my other problem.
I have heard, that maby advanced can the problem be ?
Here some screens :

Edit :
I have a new database error when I go to the Maintenance for Statistics database : every button that I push there is comming with that error.

Code:

Database error in vBulletin 3.0.5:

Invalid SQL:
DELETE FROM statistic_referer_short
ORDER BY counter ASC
LIMIT 0

mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'ORDER BY counter ASC
LIMIT 0
' at line 3

mysql error number: 1064

I think that I must uninstalling this, en go back to version 2.
I have everything installed as you described, :tired:

I'm using it, and vBaCMPS, with no problems whatsoever...perhaps it would be the same for vbA.

Spyke 01-20-2005 04:54 PM

How do i update to this one if i'm uisng vbstatistics v2 ?

I am sure you did not Step 6.
HTML Code:

==============================
== step 6                                                              ==
==============================

Now let's activate the statistics and count of visitors
---------------------------------------------------------------------
6.1) Open Template "headinclude" in your AdminCP
    add the following code at the end of the template in the last line!
---------------------------------------------------------------------

<script type="text/javascript" src="clientscript/statistic_java.js"></script>

---------------------------------------------------------------------
6.2) Open Template "phpinclude_start" in your AdminCP
    add the following code at the end of the template in the last line!
---------------------------------------------------------------------

include("./statistic_counter.php");

--------------
Hint:
--------------
For a forum with several Styles you must do the change for each Style
or you have to put it into your Master Style.
(but think about vB Updates which is overwriting the Master Style!)

@Spyke
In order to use the new Statistic Version, the old version must be unfortunately removed.
A deinstallation script you found here >> https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/show...547&postcount=2

I dont know.
I know that some users get problems with vBAdvanced and the statistic because the headinclude template was changed by vBAdvanced, too.
Sorry, i have no solution for this at moment.
