Any way to not post the IP to everyone or to select groups (like admin)?

I found the setting.

Sorry but until vB 5 stabilizes I won't be updating this mod.

Once vB5 stabilizes I'll look into the problem.

Hello i was wondering if you could provide some help.

The mod has installed fine and everything works except when you come to choosing a position at this point when you click the position you wish to apply for it directs to link but shows no questions only the option to apply for a position again.

Any suggestions?

If this is with vB 5.0.5, I can't say what the problem is. I haven't even looked at 5.0.5 so far as add-ons go yet. And until I see some stability in vB5, I won't be looking for the problems.

If it's with an earlier version of vB, that shouldn't happen so long as the permissions for each form type and position are set correctly. And if you have all of the questions defined for the position.

I don't seem to have any issues running this with 5.0.5 except... where do I go to see the actual applications once they're submitted? Because I'm told the application was submitted successfully, but then it says I'm not authorized to view this page, so I'm guessing it's permission issues.

I just don't know which permissions needs to be set or where I administer application permissions specifically.

Thanks!

The applications are posted in the forum/thread you specify in ACP->Application Forms

If you don't see the Application Forms menu in the ACP left menu, then there's another thing not working in vB5.0.5

Is that something that could be fixed by an end user? I'd really like an option like this, but I am hardly proficient enough to write something like this myself. I can definitely make modifications if needed, though.

I don't think so. Coding vB5 is a totally different animal as compared to vB4.

And being a member of the vB5 Beta test team, I am working with versions not yet available to everyone. And even with those versions I don't feel it's stable enough to begin programming the changes needed for this mod to continue to work.

Now I think I need to clarify what I'm saying. When I say stable, I mean the code hasn't reached a point where I can feel comfortable coding the changes needed and not have to keep coming back after each release to fix them again. Part of my style of coding is to code so a mod (especially a free mod) will survive multiple vB updates without needing to be recoded or patched. And vB5 is not yet in a state to support that.
