Not with this mod. Not even close. Sorry.

Just installed and enabled but do not see the dropdown menu on the left frame of the AdminCP. 4.2.2

BirdOPrey5 03-28-2014 01:21 AM

Did you upload the files?

Did you refresh the Admin CP window in your browser?

Sorry, a careless mistake as I forgot there were usergroup permission changes and I didn't notice when using my ftp client.

Thanks for the mod!

Is it possible to keep an iFrame open/static, let's say at the top of the page and have the forumhome display/other vbulletin links on the lower about 75% of the page?

I happened to stumble here from:

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum...e-in-vbulletin

and think I'm on the same quest as that poster was

By default any basic links inside the IFRAME will open inside the IFRAME.

If however someone coded the links with a target attribute (such as target="_blank" to force a new page) there is no way to override that with an IFRAME.

So basically it can be done, but only on pages you control yourself, if you code them without target attributes.

I uploaded the gold version on 4.2.2 and when I select iFRAMEr Manager I get the following messge:

404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

I also noticed there is nothing in the Quick Links from navbar.

That would be the same error regardless of version- it means you did not upload the admincp files or do not upload them to the correct location.

One common reason for this is if you have a custom Admin CP directory and you didn't take this into account before uploading the files.

You should be able to get to the IFRAMEr settings from the IFRAMEr CP Group in the Admin CP.

I'll try uploading the files again, but I do not have anything custom that I know of. I run the default style. However, I noticed the directories in the left side menu all open anytime I do something in one of the directories.

Btw, I run a word press front page along with this board, and the address looks like "forums.mysiteaddress.com". Seems like some plugins don't like that and I thought I would mention it here just in case. Going to reinstall files now...

The domain being used shouldn't make any difference- if you continue to have issue and want me to take a look you can PM me AdminCP/FTP details (even if the FTP is read only) so I can see what is going on.
