If Ya really need to list all mods installed couldn't you just add a "click here" then it drop down with all mods installed? atm the footer just looks a mess.

if you check the settings you will see it does this is my footer and I have about 15 of dbtech mods

As someone who has started using your modifications on a new project I was at first disgusted by the amount of added branding you all put in. Then I realize the value of your modifications and that I would do the exact same thing (though not to the point of how much clutter it causes).

This is an excellent addition to the list of modifications I have installed because you resolve that problem. You make it so it one simple footer that addresses all mods which may be installed (sort of like a "mini-credits" page) which is far more proper.

Thanks for this great mod but I can't get it to work. It's been over 48 hours, all my mods are up to date and I've manually run the daily cleanup cron job many times but nothing...
I'm running this on 4.2.3
Can you please help?

Hello Fillip,

I offered to check into this user's query:

It looks to me like everything is configured correctly, and there are no errors reported when running the "Daily Cleanup."

I wanted to verify that all of Chloe's products are up to date, but I get an error when running "Check Version" from the product manager:

Code:

Version check failed. No version number was found at this location. The URL for the version check may be incorrect, or the server may be experiencing problems. Please try again later.

Could this be related to the issue at Chloe's site?

Also, she has her site turned off at the moment while doing other maintenance...would this prevent the Copyright Management system from functioning properly?

Thanks,

Mark.

I have the same problem. My vBulletin version is 4.2.3. When i trying to do version check, i get this error message: "Version check failed. No version number was found at this location. The URL for the version check may be incorrect, or the server may be experiencing problems. Please try again later." Also i tried to run daily cleanup task, but no changes appeared. Thank you in advance.

Version checks for our existing products may not work due to the change from HTTP to forced HTTPS, if vB's version checker does not follow 301 redirects.

Regarding the Copyright Management, an update has been released @ our site that should address this. I'll update it here @ vB.org in the coming hours and/or days :)

Ok, so .. running vBulletin 4.1.3pl8...

Downloaded and installed VB4 version of this mod...

Ran Daily Cleanup twice...

Footer still shows all the DragonByte mods with nothing collapased into a single line...

Do I assume that I now wait 24 hours or so and check it again?

Thanks...

Regards,
Doug

You shouldn't need to. Can you PM me with an FTP and AdminCP account so I can look into this for you?

Went to DragonByte site, located and downloaded version 2.1.2 of this mod, which is not the 2.1.1 version here and previously installed...

Installed this new version and noted that it actually went through the process of updating styles, which the 2.1.1 version we tried didn't.

Ran Daily Cleanup....

Checked home page and now all our DragonByte mods seem to have been collapsed into a single line, with the exception of Username Change. We are currently running v1.2.1 of this mod, but notice that on DragonBye site, the current version available for this is v1.3.1, which we've now downloaded, but haven't installed as yet ..

Regards,
Doug

ps: We also notice that Profile Hover v1.4.0 which we paid to be licensed for (since expired) also appears separately and not rolled up on the single line, perhaps because it's been updated on DragonByte site to v2.0.0. We're unable to update and test that theory, without paying more money to renew the license for that product. Unfortunately, we're a not-for-profit retired veterans site and exist by donations, so haven't go enough in our piggy bank to do that. The current 1.4.0 seems to still work fine, so I guess we'll live with the fact it probably won't integrate with this mod.

v1.3.1 is the current version of Username Change here as well :)

I'll update the recently released DBTech mods here @ vB.org later tonight. I've been very busy lately, and updating mods on vB.org is a time intensive process compared to releasing @ our site or @ XF, sorry about that :(
