Works just fine on 4.1. Maybe you should uninstall and reinstall it.

Not working here

4.1.0PL2

Installed, set force read thread, shows on list just fine, no force read msg on forum. Not in the thread when I create the "force read". Anyone?

Hi, I have VB 4.1 PL2 installed, and have no idea where to set which thread users need to read.

1- you create a topic, post it and after look the adress and the number 'http://www.XXX/showthread.php?23763

now goto acp> threads & posts=> force read thread
create a new thread and in Thread ID insert 23763
set others fills;)

It works fine technically, but it shows as if the archive was active and not the default template. After clicking on "here" to see the thread the template is normal again. On occasion the "bug" does not appear and i see the message "The administrators want you to view a thread before you continue to browse the forum. You can view the thread here.." in my normal template. But mostly it looks like this (see attachment):
