Post a new event after you install his modification. The option to add the event attendance is there. His mod will not work with old events only new ones.

It will work with old events, but you have to edit them first and then save them again to enable the RSVP option.

I truly do understand what your saying I just do not plan to add that any time soon. As my site does not work like that. I have forums just for events.

I really need to get some of my other mods updated that I have released. I am a father of two boys. I have a job and I need to work on my own site too. So time is very slim. I spend every extra minute I have trying to keep these mods updated. Maybe some time in the near future I will add that option. My main focus when I rewrite/write these mods is what I need for my site. I build on for others as time permits. I just try to give back to the community when I can.

You'll never see me argue that you aren't doing a good job or that you have to add anything. Mods come second to life, and at the end of the day I thank you for doing the work you have done.

As I mentioned before you really are 90% of the way there... all that remains is supporting the links to the different features. Just drop me a PM if you ever want to see how I did the last 10%. And again thank you.

I would like to see:

( just my mock up )

Actual image of our event with red text changes.

How we would like to see the events arranged, within thread. Ignore styling and colours lol

Turn off this modification once go to your default calendar. You will see every thing you see now, with out the thread below it. That is the default calendar bit template.

Avatar is missing as I posted several times now. This is a vBulletin 4.0.1 bug. The offline thing is a vbulletin bug. Heck look at the post permissions below where you add the event. It says you do not have permission to do anything. LMAO That is all vBulletin bugs has nothing to do with the code from this modification. So until vBulletin fixes their bugs that is how it will be. Hopefully its in the 4.0.2 code base. I wouldn't get my hopes up if I was you. The avatars in the RSVP need to be focused at farcaster as his mod handles that. I do like the idea of a list of events that user has posted I will look and see what hooks are in the calendar bits templates.

I will always use vBulletins calendar template as the first post in a thread. First I can always blame vBulletin for any issue in that template. Second it keeps it easy to help fix problems. Saves me from writing a whole new template. I just keep praying the vBulletin staff would fix their calendar. I could report the bug and you guys could come behind me and ask them to fix it. Every time I post a bug they don't reply, They just marked as confirmed half the time and never reply. Oh yeah 80% of the time the bug never gets fixed. :erm:

The great thing about vBulletin is that you have the ability to go in and modify the templates. You don't need the official modifications to support the layout you are looking for. Simply customize your templates.

Cheers Guys.

TBH I am sick of posting bugs on VB. They never get looked into and/or replied. The search mechanism on VB does my head in... I think the single most annoying feature ( missed off ) is the auto complete of usersnames when sending PM's lol.

No doubt thats a bug, my fault or divine intervention.

The reason I reply in posts about look and feel, is it gives you guys some ideas of what " idgits" like me would have on our wish list. Regarding template modification, I can hash stuff together and try and come up with something.

I do not know what that could be a link to your site would be great if you want help. A screen shot of your settings would be good too.
It could be another mod interfering with it.

Here is the issue I am seeing...

When I go to the Event Forum it shows the correct permissions...when I click on New Thread to go to the Add New Event...the permissions say I can't post, reply, etc. Now I am the admin and have all rights.

I checked the setting on both the section and the calendar...and am full access.

Thank you for doing the integration so quickly!

But I am having a problem - I am not seeing the attendees for the RSVP? I see the option to RSVP, but not the list of who RSVP'ed. I've RSVP'ed yes and no multiple times on the thread but it still looks like the provided screenshot - no list of attendees.

Edit: Getting closer. I didn't realize that I had to update Farcaster's mod too. I downloaded Beta 3.0.0b and installed and now I can get the list to show up but instead of giving me the attendees it says Array.
