Any ideas?

First, please check whether your server is running.
Then check whether your 51127 and 35555 ports are opened.

telnet <your chat installed IP> 35555
telnet <your chat installed IP> 51127

If there is nothing wrong with the above two steps, please refer to this page:

Does this offer avatar integration? (i.e. show vbulletin avatars in chat)
Do usernames link to vbulletin profiles?
Does this have vbulletin friend list integration?

We've installed this but are having problems.

1. There seems to be a phrase file missing in the download. Attached is what our Admin Panel looks like after installing. The phrase file is missing.

2. The post on 1-Mar-2010 includes this instruction, "copy folder chat/ to <vbulletin installed directory>/chat/". There is no /chat/ folder in the download. Are those instructions obsolete?

3. topcmm, can you please clarify, has the exploit reported by hqarrse here: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...27#post2126627 been addressed for those of us hosting the chat on our own Apache server?

The absence of support for this module is more than a little disappointing considering that integration with vBulletin is a key feature plugged by 123FlashChat when selling their software. 123FlashChat has terrible, terrible support.

At the very least this mod listing should be changed from "Supported" to "Not Supported".

The good news is that this will be available in the next version.

Sorry we can't figure it out without more information, your error log needs to be sent to support@123flashchat.com.

You are suggested to uninstall the module and reinstall it, to make sure all the necessary steps have been accomplished.

Sure, as I indicated before, this exploit has been repaired long time ago in 123 Flash Chat 7.x and 8.x, and it won't be a problem in our latest version at all. Don't worry!

I haven't had the best experience with 123flashchat... I paid God knows how much over the last 3 or so years for "VIP" treatment - and getting support is nigh on impossible. For starters the staff often don't understand very good English. Maybe thats changed now - as the topcmm guy here appears to have a good grasp of the language.

I've found that when asking for installation instructions so i can do things myself they are reluctant to give you any information and would rather you hand over your root password so they can do it themselves.

Not the best experience.

If you don't like our support to enter your server, the community of 123flashchat is another good choice, the admin will answer your questions. And also there are FAQ pages about installation and integration, it may help you a lot.
