I've checked vbulletin's code and I'm pretty sure this can be done without template changes or changes to the original vbulletin code. There seem to be enough hooks to do this from the plugin system. That's nice but I'm not 100% sure yet as I've not been able to look further because I'm actually busy doing other things.
If you want me to write a mod like this for vb4, then please contact me. I'm accepting donation that will allow me to make time for writing a PM Attachments mod for vb4.

I just installed this modification today.

Install seems to have gone properly.

When I go to "User Manager" and add the permissions to a user group to "Yes" it doesn't give the individuals in the group the ability to use the mod.

I have to go to the individual user and turn it on in their profile.

With 9000 members on my site I can't go to each user and turn it on.

How do I make it happen using the usergroups?

I never said I'm going to "port" this one to vb4. I said I would write a vb4 mod that does exactly the same thing.

Porting this mod to vb4 is actually the same as doing a new mod as nothing of this code is usable in vb4.
