Version from first post uses redirects for merge. It's written in description. Just upgrade to "beta" if you wish 100% AJAX.
|
I tested the beta, and it doesnt add the delimiter, even though its set on for forum posts.
|
It doesn't add delimiter if post is merged in short time. Check lag time for history saving. If it's time to save post history - then delimiter will be added. If not - then delimiter skipped as useless.
That's done intentionally. |
Sorry, but if I set the delimiter on I expect it to be used, always.

Works with images, what I needed. Thank you very much!
|
I just installed it on my forums... 3.7.3 in about 20 seconds (including downloading, importing, and configuring) and it works 100% with no additional changes.
Thanks! |
I'd like to report a conflict with another product.
When using this product with Inferno vBShout Lite, the double post prevention system does not work. (The conflict only occurs when Thread/Post reply notices are enabled in Inferno vBShout Lite's options. Turning this feature off eliminates the conflict). When both of these products are enabled, (and Thread/Post reply notices are turned on), when a user double posts, he or she is redirected to a white page displaying the word "flood" after posting a reply. In the actual thread, the second post is merged with the first, but it is also posted in a second post. Example: Post 1 Quote:

*Conflict occurs using both quick reply and normal reply. Thanks, nNJ Edit: The conflict seems to stem from the Flood Control/Prevention feature of Inferno vBShout Lite. I am attempting to contact the author of this product but he has not been online since September 2008, and his website is offline. |

Thanks a ton for your work on this mod bud. OK, well I am basically looking for a "bump prevention" mod instead of doublepost. However, it should work the same way maybe. What I am wanting to do is say one usergroup is allowed to bump ( or in this case, post without it being merged ) once every 12 hours and another usergroup is allowed to do it every 24 hours...is this possible with this mod?
Thanks again bud, Curt |
