It doesn't keep anything from working, it just works less efficiently.
I'm pretty sure I've found and fixed it for the next version.

My forum Dark base ! I wonder how to make the border effect where i can have BOX each the color bar ..! Right now i can only see those color bar but NO border i think .

You need to add the CSS as instructed in the installation document.

can i use posts per day variable in other templates ? , like showing some data if today posts = value

As detailed in activity_mod_customization.html, the Activity Today for the logged in user can be accessed with $bbuserinfo[WWU002_todaylevel]. The only complication is that you have to enable "Find today's activity for logged-in user" in the display settings.
