nice topic it shows who has no idea what repect is
and never got respect lessons from daddy and mommy :D the man is dead and was one of the greatest artist all times came from the ghetto and rise to be a star many of you where born upper class and fallen down to the lowest level my respect for this man may god have his soul and takes care of him |
overrated! none of his songs has stick... [besides California Love] it was just a combination bad luck and fanaticism and ghetto culture that some are trying to impose on us...
With all due respect Marylin Monroe & Elvis are larger than that... [added] James Dean and even Selena :p [giving u EXAMPLES] why bump up an oooold thread? p.s. and to get out of the so called 'ghetto' the only thing you need is to wake up early at 6am, take a shower, and go to work as hard as u can, and save some time to pursue some personal goals... see? so easy ;) |
He is alive because I saw Elvis and TwoPack down at the 7-11 last night buying some Old English Malt Liquor !
They were cruising in Elvis's Pink Cadillac with a back seat full of supermodels, I think one of them was Elle MacPherson, they were listening to Led Zeppelin live, Kashmir from the 75 bootleg album. |
This is spam... IMO

and to get out of the ghetto you need a LOT more then just pursue your goals sometimes you just don't have THAT luck to REACH it...yes some people love the ghetto but some are stuck and have barely any way out...Tell that to those young kid who goes to school with no food in their belly their mom ran out of food stamp and can't keep a job cause each job keep closing down or laying off people for many different reason. I don't want this thread to become a black and white situation. but anyways each is own. you believe Elvis was big to certain people well tupac is AS being for us as being a black man who reached as far as so many white people noticing him. That was already a big step. |

This has nothing to do with race.
Hendrix was loved by white kids in the 60's, The Stones and The Beatles and Zeppelin all loved him. BB King was accepted by White crowds also and they are the majority of his current audience, so was the great Luther Allison. I judge artists on talent and their hearts, not color of skin, I love Elvis but hate Boy George. I love Hendrix but hate Wacko Jacko, race has nothing to do with this subject unless you are a racist. |
