The thread icons (in latest posts) do not work, they are post_old.gif all the time, they don't change depending on whether the user has read the post or not. :(

Thanks for the great hack, hacks like this are very useful to AJAX dummies like myself :o

Lots of updates :) Aslong as they are feature updates and not pointless ones like "Added an alt tag to the image." or some crap i dont care about :D

Edit the switch on the end of the "Alp Load" plugin (on hook global_start) and change the comment in the str_replace on case 2,3 or 4. Then edit your forumhome template and add that comment where you want it to appear. Then go to the hack's options and select the placement to be the one that you edited (eg if you edited the 2nd case then select the second placement.

Atakan KOC, what about my question? It seems that the variable $gthread_newpost keeps outputing "old". Is it designed according to a specific vbulletin thread marking setting?
