The administrator has specified that you can only edit messages for 120 minutes after you have posted. This limit has expired, so you must contact the administrator to make alterations on your message.
Note that the standard time limit is 5 minutes, so I don't know where this 120 minutes is coming from as I have never used that number for anything on my forum...

Did you try to uninstall this plugin and check with out it?
I think you meesed some thing in forum's options.
What option didn't you change in forum's ACP?

Apparently I was looking at the wrong setting.

I have both Time Limit on Editing of Thread Title and Time Limit on Editing of Posts set to 120 apparently.

So it seems like this mod simply isn't working for me at all. I have a specific forum set with 14400 and have made sure the Registered usergroup has the option to edit a thread and title, but still no dice.

I should also note that I am using per_forum_edit_time_limit_1_2.zip. I do not see a 1.3 anywhere...

Version 1.2 doesn't work since 3.6.5.
Version 1.3 you can find in this post #1447697 in its attachment.

Don't forget also, that your specific forum must have proper permissions for Registered Users.

The OP should add that package to the first post.

Thank you.

This one (1.3) works well with 3.7.* with out any problems.

Thank you very much! :)

Does anybody happen to know if there's any easy way to make the limit apply to moderators as well? I mean - something I can do, that won't take a lot of your time to tell me about?

Nice mod! But is there any way to make it per usergroup rather than per forum? Or even both?

I think of course there is a way.

Same here :)
But we have to ask Dismounted to allow to modify his code for new futures.

Any 3.7.3 users having issues?

Hornstar 09-24-2008 09:13 PM

Dismounted, I was wondering if you could add the option to this mod, to allow a super admin to give unlimited time editing per post as well. Eg. there is a button that appears only for super admins on each post, and if the super admin clicks that button, then that post can now be edited by the person who made it.

Thanks.

That sounds cool :p. So I guess that'll be on my list.
