Please provide full details of what you have done and in what way it isn't working. I cannot attempt to debug without a bug.

Hi Guys,
How can I add this option onto my registration ? So that a user will have to specify on reg whether he is a male or female. It should be editable in profile too. . |
Hi Shaolin :)
To make it display upon registration go into the User Profile Field Manager and edit the gender field. Look down to the "Field Required" selection. It contains a list of options that will allow you to require that field and/or show it at registration and/or to require it upon each profile edit or not. Peace :D //KiroS |
I used this but tweaked it. We have a crafting forum and I wanted to, instead of gender, reflect the type of craft the user did. So I uploaded different icons to represent the crafts. :) I tried to do it multiple item, but that didn't work so I just make the .gifs to represent more than one item as needed. I also moved it to have it show up underneath the username/title area.
It worked. Awesome. 'Been wanting something like this for a while. It was a bit of a struggle for me to get it to where I wanted, but I learned a bit in the process. Thanks so much for sharing this mod. |
Works great, I just intalled it. For those that have issues with the .gif's showing up, the file name is CASE sensitive. Make sure you call it Male.gif and Female.gif not male.gig and female.gif.

installed. :)

is there any way to make it so that you can make new forums where only a set gender can see them?
