I think it's a very sad moment that paul is "sort of" leaving. I genuinely think he's one of the best coders on the site, one thing that stands out about all his hacks is how easy they are to install and how well they all work...exactly as described. Not saying nobody else does them like that, many do, but this situation is just good.

Thankfully Paul seems to be leaving his hacks in situ, that's a good thing. I've got nearly all of them installed and they are all 'vital' hacks on my board, not "nice to haves".

I don't profess to know what the solution is to all this. I would possibly say everyone involved needs to take a week or so away from the site and let things calm down, see how it is when they return.

I'm not leaving Mark, just having a rest from the hassle, plus I'm going away in three weeks time for about 10 days - I will still be visiting at least once a day until then, just not living here as I seem to have done recently.

I apologise on behalf of any staff who might have said something that was misconstrued to mean that members and coders are not appreciated. Coders are the life-blood of this site. We are trying to work out a way where coders will feel more appreciated. Please be patient.

I'm guessing I'm in the minority here, but I'm a coder and I feel plenty appreciated already. All I have to do is look through the replies in any of my hack release threads to feel appreciated.

But... that's just me.
