The "Collapse" button shows whether the list of thanking members is exposed, or collapsed. He is asking whether the "Collapse" can be changed to "Expand" when the desire is to expose the list of members.

Also, can the "Collapse" button be removed totally, so that the default of the list of members who give thanks is always showing? My 7.84 installation didn't have the "Collapse" button and just showed the list members. I like that better because otherwise it requires the members to click on the button the expose the list (an extra step).

That 0 is sometimes 1, 2 it varies.

I found the cause:

That causes it.

Now only if I knew were it is present so I can remove it...

Hm, fresh install and nothing is showing up. Plugin is enabled and turned on, but I see nothing (Even on the default skin).

What'd I miss?

Hey all. Since I'm being lazy and don't feel like going through over 3,500 posts in this thread, can you please let me know what is the most current / best version to use in your opinion? I'm inclined to believe it is post_thanks_7_86 For 4.2.0 - 4.2.3 vb version_with_thanks_postbit_fix.zip , but there are a lot of links in the OP.

On another note, not sure if it's acceptable to have full discussion here, but how are your users responding to having the thanks system? A majority of my users want one, but there are some who are very against it. Thanks in advance for any advice.

7.86 is the one you should use but if you want a better one use dbtech version

Depends on what you like in a plugin try both and then pick the one you like. The 7.86 version has had a lot of fixes done by me and a lot of the code changed and new things added compared to the original one. I don't use it myself as I have the pro version of dbtech plugin, but as I said it depends what you are looking for in a plugin so do test each one

You need to upload all files to your ftp overwriting the old ones and do the same with the xml in your admincp. Do not use your cpanel to upload anything

All counters remain untouched after overwriting?

It overwrites old files with new it wont remove any thanks already given

I have never used or seen badshah mod but they can reply to a post or thread without clicking thanks. But if you want the mod to work in some other way feel free to recode it

I might be blind but I cant find how and where I enable how many Likes a user has given in postbit. I can see how many times someone else has liked (user) but I cant see how many times that user has liked other threads. Where do I enable this?

I am well aware of DBTech mod is more good but its really tough decision for me to uninstall this and install a new mod because everyone will lose thanks they received before. In this situtaion what you would recommend to me?
