Okay I followed the upgrade instructions (i upgraded from the estore) and everything is fine everyone still has their points, accept now when people post they don't gain anymore points when they should...have I turned something off somewhere in my options? My vbux points system is enabled. Is it something I missed in the upgrade?

Any help would be appreciated :)

hello im sorry if this might have been posted allready but this thread is too long to dig through it.

we have installed your hack and people are able to buy ribbons in our forum. i wonder how it is possible to give those ribbons as a present to other users?

i havent found that option anywhere.
the bought ribbons also dont show up anywhere? where are they supposed to be seen?

yes i did originally on estore and it was set to 0 for all of them as I only wanted a few of my forums where you could gain points, and since I have a lot of forums it was easier to set it to 0 for mass settings then alter the few I wanted to change. This worked perfectly on estore though.

Im a total newbie to this whole thing and ive attempted this, and i think ive done ok!!

HOWEVER...

when i click on a forum to see the thread titles it says something like this

how to play aces strong> how to play aces

Its basically added the 'strong> how to play aces' and its just copying the title again...

Could anyone help me?! sorry if this is an easy task...

Well first of all i dont get a link in the navbar on my custom skin which is the default skin for all users... and i do get it on the actual default skin...:confused:

have you made sure the permissions are granted in each usergroup? Through the usergroup manager, and also in the VBplaza > manage categories tab, then go to each heading and make sure the users are checked off

I was having the same problem, yes all my usergroups were able to purchase vbplaza stuff. How I solve it? Please read again the above post:

Hi guys. Any help with this? When I turn on the option to show a confirmation page for (purchasing) an arcade game, when you hit the purchase button it doesn't play the game it just takes you back to the forum home page. It does not charge any money either so there is a problem somewhere with where it's looking. Any help appreciated.

{edit} Fixed it via nabar. However this system does not work if you choose play game in new window (as windows are not scrollable). Also, if you start a game with anything other than the main game link it just loops back to the menu page after you hit purchase.

Ive just tried upgrading to the latest version... and im getting this error when trying to import the new product:

Also, when I try to add a new ribbon, I get this:

You did not enter anything for the Ribbon Description.

Bu there's no field to enter any "Ribbon Description", just the filename, ribbon name, diaplay order and the cause.

I had this installed with Aria + from vbstyles and it screwed the layout up, was it me? has anyone else got this working with that skin? if did you have to tweak it? thanks.

I have found a bug with Quick Edit. If you add line breaks/spaces to a post with Quick Edit with this hack enabled, it attempts to post the HTML of the code. If I disable the product, it works fine again.

Tested on 1.5.7, vB 3.6.0 Beta 3.

This is one mighty hack . . as I said before, thank you. Just one minor point I'd like to resolve if possible.

In the drop down menu on the navbar it says "Give Ribbons" and "Give Gifts". So far I haven't found an option to "give" a ribbon to another member, although I can give the gifts. Either I'm missing the option to give them to others, or if it isn't there, can I change the text to say simply "Ribbons"? Can't help feel they'll be overlooked if people think they can only buy then to give away.

Anyone know how to edit this? Or should there be an option to actually give, rather than buy them only for oneself?

Hmm... for some reason the input box to type in usernames and custom titles (to, for example, change your username or custom title) isnt appearing. I have no templates changed.

Currently running vB 3.6 Beta 3 with the latest version of vbBux/Plaza. I also installed the ibProArcade addon that came with the zip. Any way to fix this error?

I have set the price to play and jack pots for the games and they show up, however it doesnt take points from the user to play the game... any help from anyone?
