Is there anyway of making where you write shouts at the bottom below the chatbox so you have more space for shouts etc ?
|
That is a Pro-only feature :)

What am I missing? I want the vbshout to be in my header above everything else. So I DISABLED the function where it says to put it below the navbar or in the footer. Then in the MANUAL box I put "header" because that's the template. And then in the "header" template, I put the {vb:raw vbshout} in there as line 1.
But nothing shows up. vbshout works and displays perfectly when I tell it to be at the navbar. Is it because I have a custom style? And I have to do something more than just put "header"? I have to somehow put StyleName:header or something goofy like that? I'm at a loss here. Wanting to get it all tweaked correctly before I bother with going Pro. |
It's possible the header template is rendered too soon for this mod to hook into.
Did you try using navbar instead and putting it in the top of the navbar template? Fillip |

Got it to work in navbar. But can't go any higher it seems. Something isn't loading quick enough to render it.

The input area works off of two StyleVars:
input_background and control_focus_background. The first is before the user selected the input area, and the 2nd is while the user is typing. The actual shouts' background area works off of the postbit_background StyleVar. Hope that helps :) Fillip |
