I get this error:

Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in [path]/goldbrick/includes/class_goldbrick.php on line 526

It seems to still work though.

Edit:
I get this message when I tried to put a youtube video in my profile:
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

In Forum Manager set enable goldbrick in this forum to "no" for excluded forums.

Admincp>Forum & Moderators> Forum manager> *specific forum>Goldbrick settings

* needs to be changed for each forum individually.

For the people using version 1.9, how it is working for you?

it's not working for me for the following, Dailymotion, MegaVideo, Megarotic (not sure I spelled it right),

And for Google, still get the error if you have more than two video files... Sometime I still received the error for just one Google Video file....

If possible, please add the IDMdb. I have not yet test the flash file. And the Next, Previous button between/among videos or images are not working...

Typo in admin settings "Defualt Title for Media" ;)

Fot the users who running vBA edit line 1056 in the product file:

look for:
PHP Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="goldbrick/style/highslide-full.packed.js"></script> 
Change to:
PHP Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/goldbrick/style/highslide-full.packed.js"></script> 
This will eliminated the IE Highslide error.

I haven't fixed any sites. I'm just fixing bugs from the main code right now. I do believe I fixed the Google video bug already though in version 1.8.

If anyone is using 1.9 have you tried the Cache yet?

Thanks for the great hack. I just installed the 1.9. It is working great.

I had one of the error codes at first. I read through the posts and found out how to fix it easily. Also did the upgrade to 1.9.

I had te remove the increase and decrease options on the members video tab, this give me an error "expect object"

When i tick the option for the cache, im getting this error:
