What I am searching is a mod that creates a topic when a user create an event in a calender. My mistake, I wasn't really clear, sorry.
The Farcaster's Event Attendance v3 (for vb4) allows to say if a user will be a part of the event. It doesn't create a topic in a specific forum when a user create a new event. Thanks for your help. |

Are you sure for Farcaster's Event attendance https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=234741 ?
The modification list does not say that and I can't manage to create new thread in a specific forum when I add a new event. How do you do that ? May be you are refering to an old combination of Farcaster's Event attendance with a mod in graveyard (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=234794) ? Thanks for your answer. |
No, I am referring to this one.
I have the vb3 version installed on my test site, it is really no different then the vb4 version, you just need to install it on your board and play with it. I set up both on my test board but, use them separately. If I used them together, a new thread woud be created without going to the calendar page. For this demo, I will link you to the calendar to post a new event. After you post the event, click new post. Demo on 3.8 board. Code:

You're right it does create a new topic on your forum.
But not with mine. Here are the screens after I create an event with just Farcarter's mod : https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2014/08/53.png https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2014/08/54.png And I did look at the options, none of them allow me to select a forum where the events will be created. |
So any idea ?

I will install this on my localhost later today and see what I can do for you.
