I downloaded the file as posted here, installed it, but I have 'some' issues;

At first it didn't work at all, I think this is because in the templates the code refers to vbshout.php and in the zipped package the php file was called "infernoshout.php".

After I changed that, it showed up and looked like it worked. However I got the message that it's shoutbox lite v2.5.0 and not 2.5.1. Weird but whatever, as long as it works.

But it doesn't! It just shows;Now I can prune all I want to, but it just doesn't seem to work. The quoted text stays were it is, and I'm unable to add new shouts to it.

Also, I've set the input line to be below the text and the newest below, but no matter what, it stays were it is...
Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

Ok I am having problems with this.
I have installed this succsesfully before on a diff board. But now I am having trouble. I put the <!--{%SHOUTBOX%}--> in the forumhome template and the forumdisplay template. I then go add those to the list but after I refresh the forum board the shoutbox does not show up. Why is this?

Well I've added the inferno shoutbox.

But I'm new.. So I don't know how to edit templates or anything.

The shoutbox won't show on my main page..

I think this is what I have to do :

Edit the template: FORUMHOME
Find: $navbar
Underneath this add: <!--{%SHOUTBOX%}-->

Then save your template.

Could anyone tell me how?

Hello, is there any way to remove the Shoutbox title from the Shoutbox? I have posted a screenie showing what i want removed. It just seems to make my navbar seem crowded and messy. I like the location of my navbar so i would like to remove the shouter title...Thanks in advance. Be well -

I did search in the phrases and found tons of Shoutbox phrases, but still unsure of which one of those is for the title of the Shoutbox, or how to delete it...I am a noob where working with phrases are concerned...Any help would be so appreciated...Be well-
