You change the name in the database. Just log in to phpmyadmin (or whatever you are using to manage your database) and you will see fields there to change everything.

I am pretty sure he will create fields for this to be changed via the admin panel eventually.

Are you really running "http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/alice/src/admin/botloader.php", or are you editing it properly to include YOUR domain?

If you got a 404 error page, make sure your files are uploaded and in the right spot. That's not a hack / mod problem, it's operator error. (No offense). It just means that you did not do something right.

This is crazy. I originally got the "Cannot connect to database. please try again later" error. So I edited my dbprefs file to include the correct paths. Now I whenever the bot replies I get...

Well i fixed that, but now the bot just says either "cannot connect to database. please try again later" again, or weird german crap, or this "Intéressant, j archive vos informations."

Your dbprefs.php edits were not done correctly. Some servers have different paths to the folders. As you can see in the fatal error I posted above, mine is much longer than what other have used.

We need a better learning system. This is absurd.
