i have been using this plugin for about a month now and have noticed my visitors decline ALOT since installing this so called SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZER.
My site uses Cpanel and Cpanel detects bots and wont log them as visitors. However since using this my visitors have dropped by 3/4!!!
So i'll uninstall it cause i think its garbage

The stats related to sitemaps are:
* Sitemap details and errors

The search query stats (that you quoted) displayed at the google webmaster account are not related to sitemaps at all and are gathered both for sites with and without sitemaps.

for IIS version, please make sure that you have installed ISAPI_Rewrite correctly and enetered the rewrite rules in httpd.ini.

This plugin is called "vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator for vBulletin 3.5.x & vBulletin 3.0.x". The purpose of sitemap generation is just to help SE bots to crawl your site better/faster. In order to optimize your forums for search engines, you should perform many other steps (both on-site and off-site), including modifying your tempaltes, create backlinks to your site etc.

I use a Seo hack which makes my urls "html". It's not VBSeo. Yet I want to use sitemaps, but site maps are generated as "php" which could cause the spiders to percieve as duplicate content.

How can I make the maps generated for "html"?

vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator v.1.6.1 supports only vBSEO formatted URLs and original vBulletin URLs.
