I can not for the life of me get this to work, I install the mod, then go to the casino area in my admincp on the left side colum, click "casino settings" and get this

Then if I click "game settings" I get this


I have read through this thread for people that have had a problem like this and the answer is always, "you can't leave a setting blank, if you want it zero make it zero" Well the problem is I can't edit any settings, it just throws that at me as soon as I click the settings area...

Any help would really be appreciated.

After donating members money to get the casino started, the iCash total is resetting itself to zero after a few hours have past.

After donating to members a certain amount, that $ figure shows up on their profiles and they can, and have, used it in the casino.

But, lo and behold, when I come back to the forum in a few hours it's back to $0.00

Suggestions?

Ok maybe Im a total dumbass but im still not sure how to install this. Im not a coder so If i mess this up i will have no idea how to fix it. So heres my question. Im running 3.8.2. I have an ftp client obviously. I have a public_html folder and a www. folder up on my server. Which folder is this going in? Inside each of those 2 folders I have an Admincp and Includes folder. Thats what i have so I dont have a "forum" folder like is suggested in the read me. I downloaded the casino file and unzipped it. It has casino folder in it. Inside that folder casino there are 4 files. They are Upload folder, changelog, product-casino, and readme. Inside the uploads folder there are 3 more folders and one file named casino, a php file. The three folders are named admincp, Casino, and Includes. So my question is, what gets uploaded and where. What is then up installed and where. Go slow and explain it like im a total idiot. Well I am. Thanks for any help.

where ever u installed your forums in the first place is your forums folder - upload the php file, and casino folder there.

In your forums folder (where you installed your vbulletin forum to) there will be a folder called admincp - upload the files from admincp in your current downloaded casino folder that you mentioned above into the admincp folder where your forums are installed.

Same as includes and you should be right to go.

Ok I did It I think. I uploaded the files as per above. I have the casino button in the admin cp. I left all permission blank for now so everyone can access it. I added the code to put te casino link on the navbar. And that works. The problem is when I click the casino button on the navbar I get the dredded 404 not found. Where have I gone wrong? Perhaps an upload problem, something in the wrong spot?

you need to fix your nav bar link to something like this
www.yoursite.com/forum/casino.php

most of the time the navbar will put it to
www.yousite.com/casino.php
and this causes the 404 error

That obviously looks like you said it shouldnt look. How do I get it like it should?

ok, i checked it out on your site and your site would not require the /forums/casino.php.
I looks as if you have either not uploaded everything or maybe uploaded something in the wrong place.

I think this is the place. with all the different casino folders I think ive uploaded something on the wrong level or something. This is my original post. Ive uniquely idenfified the casino folder so with that can you tell me the exact folders to upload.

Just in case it doesnt work this is what im doing.
Ok I started over and this is what I did. I uploaded the "UPLOAD" folder to my public_html folder. Now when I access the UPLOAD folder with my file manager on my host site I see three folders (admincp, casino(2), includes) and the casino PHP file. Ok i am click and drag the php file and drop directly to my puclic_html folder. I clicked and dropped the casino(2) folder and dragged and dropped it into the public_html folder. Now I clicked and opened the admincp file that was inside the UPload folder. Inside that are 3 php files. I highlighted all three and am dragging them into the admincp folder of public_html. Now im repeating the same thing with the includes folder. But inside this folder are two more files (cron and xml). I am going to highligh these two files and drap and drop them into the includes folder of public_html. Lets see it it works. IT WORKS....Ill just post this incase any other dummy like me doesnt understand it. Thanks guys.

ok, the folder that says "upload" ..take the suff that is in there and load it one at a time to the folders on your server.
so if you open the upload folder and inside of it is a "admin" folder --upload what is in that folder to your admin folder on your server...

I can do this for you ...let me know i have it working perfect on my site.

I thought I uploaded everything right, and I uploaded the product, and all the hooks are there, but I have no product options, and the URL is invalid.

if not then i would guess you have a file in the wrong place...
Or your usergroups are not set correctly.

I have not had any major bugs reported..as a matter of fact i have not had any reported from my site.

Can someone please be so kind to tell me how and where i can change the Language to german ? So far i did not find a german Language-File so i guess i will have to do it myself. Where is it located ?

Does the Texas Hold Em work well too?? I mean the multiplayer game..

i've not had a problem with it but others on hear have said that sometime someone is kick from the game but i don't know.

To the best of my knowledge, everything is where it should be, but I would more than love any help you offer.

When you do your uploads ..just make sure you put them in the right places..

you will see something like a folder that says "upload" and in that folder will be another folder named "admincp" ..well you upload what is in the "admincp " folder to your admin folder on your server and then do the same with each folder...if you need more help just email me or PM

Ok, I know I've uploaded everything properly (the VERY generous and helpful zombietom helped me) but it's STILL not working. The product is uploaded, but I have no ACP options, and the casino.php is nonexistent.

I hear it's because I'm using 3.8.1

the existence of casino.php is reliant entirely on whether or not you have uploaded it, and where you have uploaded it to - vBulletin (whatever version) would not affect that...

If casino.php does not exist, the easiest assumption is that it is in the wrong place; if it is in the wrong place, then all other files are possibly also in the wrong place.

I am running 3.8.1 and it works great, what ever you heard, it's wrong. Your files must be in the wrong place. Check out my site and see for yourself: www.gameshack.org

High server loads will kick some out of Texas Holdem Poker on a shared server.
Inactivity settings will make the slots spin indefinitely and require you to log back in if you play for longer than specified in your settings.
Let Em Ride Poker title displays as: Let 'em Ride.

Those are the only bugs with 3.8.1

admin cp casino>>game settings>> than find the game Let 'em Ride and replace "'" with " ' "

hello all, well I have had several goes at installing this, I have the casino in the options bar, but I get a white page, no errors though, just a white page.
in admin cp, I still cant seem to get the games tag, anyone else got this and worked out a fix

admincp is now active, yipee, still only a white page when clicking on casino though.

1. Upload the "casino.php" file and "casino" folder into the same folder as your forum. (Easy, 1 file, 1 folder)

2. upload the files in the admimcp folder and includes folder (This is what gets most people...just the files, not the whole folder from the admimcp folder get uploaded to the admimcp folder that is already on your site. Then upload the files in the includes folder to the includes folder that is already on your site)

Remember...just the files...not the whole folder.

The navbar link will show up even if you put the files in the wrong place.

If this doesn't help check back and I'll help you find out what files you are missing.
