/pm and /mp are pm commands as you can see from the help ;)

One corresponds to private message (english) the other to message priv? (french).

My quick reply is broken, the same as here.

If I turn off display in forumhome or above threads or wherever, Quick Reply remains broken.

If I disable MGC chatbox mod in "Manage Products", then my Quick Reply remains broken.

The mod has broken something major, and I need to revert it quickly as I am already getting emails from users complaining about the broken forum.

Does the button work ? Which browser are you using ? Coz I don't experience that neither on ie7 nor ff2

Import the language file:
In the admincp, go in : Languages & Phrases >> Download / Upload Languages
Click on the Browse button and select the language file from the l folder
In the overwrite language dropwdown, select the language in which you want to install the chatbox phrases.
Select yes for Ignore language version.
Click on import

i uploaded this file mgc_chatbox_language_EN

using ie 7

And if you uninstall the new version of the chatbox ?

Perhaps this is a problem of language import If you didn't made it well this is a possibility.

mmm Another problem. I think ive done all the steps and yet the shoutbox doesnt show. I'm an amateur at vBulletin, unfortunately. I was wondering if the problem might be that i added the last step

I added $mgc_chatbox to FORUMHOME template.... Besides that i think i did everything right... Idk, if anyone can clear this up for me, help is greatly appreciated!! :)

Hum yes that phrase is missing in the chatbox language file, strange !

Ok there seem to be a problem with the language file, import the initial one from vbulletin.

I temporarly remove the chatbox and will put it back in about 12H (once I get back from work)

On forumhome you don't need to do that

and also the mp is showing instead of pm
yeah and the pm channel seems to be odd :S i mean like i said when i enter a msg on the pm channel the msg goes to the main channel instead and everyone could see the msg

and also the shoutbox still take me the top whenever i click on the button
